Tata Volunteering Week 8: ‘Now It’s Your Turn’

The eight edition of Tata Volunteering Week (TVW8), which was launched on 5^th September 2017, successfully concluded on 7^th October 2017. TVW8 offered a range of company-organized volunteering opportunities and witnessed the participation of senior leaders, colleagues, family members and retirees from across the globe who came together to join in the ‘Now it’s your turn’ campaign.

This edition witnessed the highest ever numbers in terms of participation with over 2,200 volunteering activities were conducted by 55 Tata companies across 170+ locations, to support 560+ partners (non-profits, orphanages, local self-governments, schools, hospitals, villages and communities). Volunteers contributed their time, effort and expertise to causes ranging from conducting road safety awareness campaigns to protecting biodiversity by involving local partners to assembling wheelchairs for the differently abled; and from building houses for those affected by disaster to employees signing up for organ donation.
