Cleanliness drive Ginger Hotels  |  Vapi
 
14 volunteers from Ginger Hotels, Vapi undertook a cleanliness drive to support ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’. They cleaned the vicinity area of Hyundai Motors while creating awareness amongst people about keeping the environment clean and using dustbins to dispose garbage.

After the immersion of Ganpati Idols during Anant Chaturdashi the beaches became too dirty. Keeping in spirit of cleanliness, 5 employees of Tata Motors voluntarily came forward and took part in a beach cleaning activity at Girgaum Chowpatty and helped clean the beach.
 
  Food distribution to the rain affected communities Rallis India  |  Dahej
 
Rallis India Limited, Dahej Unit volunteers distributed food packages to Lakhogaam Navinagari (Affirmative Action Community), a neighbouring community that was affected by the heavy rains. Around 100 families were affected the water clogging in their residences and were running out of food and drinking water. 16 volunteers packed food and distributed it to the community. They also had a discussion regarding issues faced by them during rainy season.

A team of 30 members from Ginger Ahmedabad undertook cleanliness and upkeep of neighborhood by cleaning the areas near the hotel including pathways and educated the general about the importance of cleanliness. The four and half hour-long activity was a demonstration of complete dedication to serve for good environment.

As a part of the Tata Volunteering Week 8, Vivanta by Taj Surajkund NCR organised a blood donation camp in association with Rotary Blood Bank. 42 associates participated in the noble cause by being voluntary donors in the hope of making a difference.

Tata Volunteering Week 8 was flagged off in a formal ceremony by senior leaders. After the launch, volunteers visited Beileipada petrol pump and conducted a program on safety at the fuel station. The safety aspects on pump equipment maintenance, SOPs on fire extinguishers as well as best practices for staff were shared. The visiting customers were advised on road safety, usage of crash helmet and other precautions to be undertaken.
 
  Teacher’s day celebration Rallis India  |  Lote
 
A group of 6 Volunteers of Rallis India Limited, Lote Unit visited Nutan Vidyalaya and celebrated Teacher’s Day with the teachers and the students. They also conducted a tree plantation drive in the school premises. They distributed pens to the teachers as a token of appreciation.
 
  Road safety awareness JUSCO  |  Jamshedpur
 
Volunteers organized a road safety awareness campaign near the Bistupur main road, where the team members distributed leaflets on road safety, traffic rules and general safety measures to be taken during emergencies. Volunteers also ensured a checking system where they checked whether vehicle drivers and bikers were complying with all the road safety rules or not.
 
  Health check-up for students JUSCO  |  Jamshedpur
 
Volunteers organized a health check-up for 80 students of Shikcha Protsahan Kendra Parbatipur. The medical camp included a general health check-up. A team of doctors distributed vitamin and iron supplements and necessary medicines and recommended further medical treatments. This camp also included an awareness campaign where the team enlightened the students about health, hygiene and sanitation.

On Teacher’s Day, “JUSCO Super Twenty” students celebrated this day by felicitating and honouring their teachers. “JUSCO Super Twenty” is a CSR initiative through which professional coaching is being imparted to 20 aspiring students who belong to underprivileged families. This initiative helps them prepare for various engineering entrance exams

JUSCO CS & Billing Volunteers and Rotary Steel City organized a Swachh awareness session at Sardar Madhao Singh High School Bistupur. The volunteers conducted an essay and drawing competition. They also distributed prizes to the best three students.

JCAPCPL Volunteers organized a program at Mahoto Para Prathamik Vidyalay to celebrate Teacher’s Day. The teachers welcomed the team. This school caters to 120 primary students. The volunteers acknowledged the effort of teachers in shaping the minds of these young kids. They spent time with them and conducted fun activities.

The volunteers celebrated Teacher’s Day with the community girls who are the students of vocational training program at No. 10 Community Development Centre. The purpose of celebrating this program was to motivate these children and add values to their lives by making them understand the importance of teachers in their career and future. The students showcased their talent through dance forms and songs.
 
  Blood donation camp Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
Tata Power - DDL, in association with Indian Red Cross Society organized a blood donation camp at Tata Power-DDL Office, Rohini, New Delhi. The camp had a registration of 70 motivated and enthusiastic employees of which 39 units of blood were collected. TPDDL is a corporate donor of Indian Red Cross Society and has been recognized regularly for the contributions made by the employee volunteers.
