Tata Volunteering Week is that time of the year, when scores of Tata employees across the globe come together to volunteer and spread cheer. If you haven't yet experienced this celebration, come revel in the joy of volunteering. Spend time helping the less fortunate, share moments with the little kids who long for company, sweep the street clean, aid ailing patients. The list is endless.
Talks and planning can help determine the right path to herald change. But to effect change, we need to walk the talk.
Each Tata Volunteering Week (TVW) is celebrated groupwide across a four week period, twice in a year. The key objective of this initiative is to encourage and inspire Tata volunteers (employees, their family members and retirees) to experience volunteering and eventually pursue it on a regular basis.
Till date, TSG has successfully conducted sixteen such celebrations with enthusiastic participation from Tata volunteers across geographies. Each TVW has broken participation records set by the previous one.
Who Can Volunteer?

Any of the above can volunteer during TVW. Most of the activities are generic in nature and do not require specialized skills. The volunteers are advised and expected to be sensitive to the communities and beneficiaries they work with and follow the volunteering guidelines.
How We Go About It?
During each Tata Volunteering Week, Tata companies across global locations offer volunteering opportunities. Volunteers typically spend half a day, carrying out volunteering work in groups. They can choose their areas of interest from the centralised pool of opportunities and participate in activities organised by any Tata company. All through the week, companies drive awareness and create interest among employees.

Timelines
Tata Volunteering Week is celebrated twice a year throughout the Tata group, with the two editions kicking off on the 3rd of March and 5th of September respectively.
