March 3-9, 2014, was celebrated as the Tata Volunteering Week to honour the 175th birth anniversary of Jamsetji Tata, Founder of the Tata group. Organised by the Tata Sustainability Group, the focus of the week was to encourage Tata employees to use their time and skills for the good of the community. More than 20,000 Tata employees across the world volunteered for the benefit of society.
