Tata Engage empowers and encourages the 9,35,000 Tata workforce, their family members and retired Tata colleagues to bring in meaningful change in society. Since 2015, Tata Engage has been clocking more than a million volunteering hours each year. In FY 2023, we contributed 3.67 million volunteering hours which translates to every Tata employee volunteering for 3.77 hours in a year. The Tata group is now committed towards the aspiration of having each Tata employee volunteer for at least 4 hours in a year. Tata Engage will continue to be one of the key enablers for realising the group’s aspiration.

Every year, Tata Volunteering Week (TVW) amplifies the spirit of giving among employees and their families, and enables them to come together and volunteer for causes close to their hearts. With our volunteers coming together in numbers and strength, the impact it creates is unparalleled. This year marks a milestone edition of the Tata Volunteering week, as we step up to launch the 20th edition of Tata Engage’s event-based volunteering programme. Marking the International Day of Charity 2023, Tata Volunteering Week 20 will commence on 5th September 2023, aligned to the theme ‘Team TVWenty – League of Extraordinary Volunteers’. The theme for TVW20, reflects the power of extraordinary volunteers coming together to stand strong in solidarity and create positive change. TVW 20 will run up to 7th October 2023 and provide a range of unique DIY opportunities, company organized opportunities and collaborative One Tata activities, allowing volunteers to pick from a range of causes, gather family members and colleagues and join the team of extraordinary volunteers.

“Great, when did the Tata group start Tata Volunteering Week?”
Tata Volunteering Week, the event-based volunteering format of Tata Engage was launched on 3^rd March 2014 to commemorate the 175^th birth anniversary of our founder, Jamsetji Tata.

“I’m intrigued. What’s new this edition?”
This milestone edition, TVW 20 offers a range of DIY initiatives, where volunteers can directly engage in activities, supporting causes close to their hearts in locations most convenient for them. Additionally, TVW brings a range of collaborative events across many locations in India. These events are proposed as One Tata events where Tata companies in that geography may come together to participate and create extraordinary change.

• To find out more about activities being conducted by your company, do reach out to your company volunteering SPOC (Specific Point Of Contact for volunteering), CSR or volunteering team
• Conduct your own volunteering activity with the DIY Opportunities available on www.tataengage.com
• Participate in any other Tata company's organised volunteering activity
