Tata Volunteering Week 13

 

The thirteenth edition of Tata Volunteering Week (TVW13) started on 3rd March 2020, the 181st birth anniversary of our founder Jamsetji Tata. While companies across the Tata group had already curated several volunteering opportunities for employees, family members and retired Tata colleagues, in view of the evolving situation with regards to the COVID-19, the Tata group decided to cancel TVW13 to ensure safety of our volunteers and communities on 17th March 2020. All of you share a sense of disappointment, as a significant amount of effort had been put into the planning, but given the circumstances, we have taken the most appropriate course of action to enable us to maintain social distance, flatten the transmission curve and enable Government to ramp up capacity within the health care system.
