Launching on the birth anniversary of our founder, Jamsetji Tata, Tata Volunteering Week 21 (TVW21) invites all of you to cross the boundary and ‘score a four’ i.e. volunteer for four hours with TVW21.

From March 3rd to March 31st, 2024, TVW21 will offer a host of engaging volunteering opportunities, curated by Tata companies as well group level events organised by Tata Engage. The theme “Score a Four" celebrates the collective Tata purpose and commitment to drive positive change. Just as sportspersons give their all to win matches, we salute Tata volunteers, who continue to give their invaluable time and skills to support communities in need.

“Great, when did the Tata group start Tata Volunteering Week?”
Tata Volunteering Week (TVW), the event-based volunteering format of Tata Engage was launched on 3^rd March 2014 to commemorate the 175^th birth anniversary of our founder, Jamsetji Tata. TVW is celebrated every March and September, and this March we are kick-starting the 21^st TVW!

Every year, Tata Volunteering Week (TVW) amplifies the spirit of giving among employees and their families, and enables them to come together and volunteer for causes close to their hearts. With our volunteers coming together in numbers and strength, the impact created is unparalleled.

“I’m intrigued. What’s new this edition?”
This edition, we are rallying all our volunteers to help us cross the boundary and score a four i.e. volunteer for 4 hours during TVW21. This will help us achieve the group aspiration of having each Tata volunteer contribute four hours of volunteering in a year.

“Why the emphasis on 4 hours of volunteering? What’s so special about the number 4?”
Since 2015, the group has been clocking more than a million volunteering hours each year. In FY 2023, we contributed 3.67 million volunteering hours which translates to every Tata employee volunteering for 3.77 hours in a year. The Tata group is now committed to the aspiration of having each Tata volunteer contribute at least 4 hours in a year. And you can help us do it!

To participate, all you need to do is

• Visit www.tataengage.com, browse through the volunteering activities listed on the ‘View Opportunities’ page under TVW and get in touch with the contact person of the activity that interests you. You can participate in any volunteering activity of your choice, even those organized by other Tata companies
• To find out more about activities being conducted by your company, do reach out to your company volunteering SPOC (Specific Point Of Contact for volunteering), CSR or volunteering team
• Conduct your own volunteering activity with the DIY Opportunities available on www.tataengage.com
