Sandip Ghosh: At Tata Hitachi, volunteering has always been a way of life. At each of its plant locations — Jamshedpur, Dharwad and Kharagpur, the company has prioritised the upliftment of its immediate surrounding community in terms of providing employment, promoting education and enhancing the overall quality of life therein. Needless to say, the company too has derived tremendous satisfaction in volunteering for all of these causes. The Tata Volunteering Week provided yet another impetus for Tata Hitachi in reaffirming its commitment to society.
