To align with Janmashtami, volunteers from Ankleshwar unit organized a Matki decoration activity along with special children from Shaishav Divyang Childrens School, Ankleshwar. The Matkis were put up for sale which helped the school gather funds for the children's educational expenses.

Volunteers from Ankleshwar unit organized a physiotherapy day celebration program with the children of Shaishav Divyang Children’s School, Ankleshwar. As part of the programme, the volunteers appointed a physiotherapist and provided physiotherapy equipment to the school. Additionally, the volunteers will be conducting physiotherapy sessions on a regular basis and provide free-of-cost therapy to children with physical disabilities.

Mithapur volunteers celebrated teacher’s day at the Technical Training Institute under the theme ‘Back to School Fancy Dress Competitions’. The event reinforced the importance of education and urged drop-out students to return to main-stream education.

Volunteers visited the Nirmal Hridoy Missionary of Charity (Mother’s Home), Malancha on International Day of Charity. The volunteers donated clothes, fruits, bed sheets & hygiene items for 60 residents of the home. They also spent quality time with the residents, sang songs and danced to ignite hope and happiness among them.

A plantation activity was organized at the Chandabila Primary School where Mr. Alok Krishna, MD, Tata Metaliks along with TML Senior Officials planted saplings of fruit and timber plants. He interacted with the beneficiaries of Adult Literacy Program and Sambhavana Learning Centre. The women involved in these programs shared their stories and benefits achieved through these initiatives. Mr. Krishna emphasized the importance of education and motivated the women/youth to continue their studies and enroll for higher studies. He also suggested to start livelihood related training and engage the women in home-based income generation activities such as tailoring training, mushroom cultivation, craft making. Additionally, a quiz was conducted for the women which ended with prize distribution and a thank you address.

TML volunteers along 8 women from the ALP (Adult Literacy Project) organized the celebrations of International Day of Literacy at Muktichak village where 90 women participated. The women involved in the ALP shared their stories and growth achieved through the initiative. Some women were also recognized for their exceptional performance in their ALP classes and adopting menstrual hygiene best practices in their village. The teachers also shared their experience and their overall growth by associating with ALP. The volunteers inspired the community to understand the importance of education and motivated their children to take up higher/technical education for their academic growth. The programme ended with a community feast.

A tree plantation drive was conducted at Chandabila village where TML volunteers participated through pit digging and planting of fruits saplings to create an orchard. This orchard will provide additional income once the plants start bearing fruit after 3 years. Meanwhile the same patch can be utilized for inter cropping of vegetables.

Volunteers from Tata Motors joined the inauguration of a new training centre for beauty parlor at the One Stop Centre, ICDS Department, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. The centre will cater to 50 girls across urban slum areas. They encouraged the interested girls to make full use of the 3-month training opportunity and on completion create a livelihood for themselves.

Volunteers conducted awareness sessions on benefits of proper nutrition for lactating mothers, health related issues for adolescent girls and discussed environment conservation in communities at Kheda, Rudrapur. They also distributed medicinal plants (all spices tree and lemon grass) to the women. Additionally, free-of- cost Hemoglobin Test was conducted for all the women/girls.

Tata Teleservices Ltd and Amma Social Welfare Association conducted awareness camps and awareness walk to highlight the importance of blood donation for Thalassemia. The volunteers also spread awareness about the importance of HBA2 Test in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, Hyderabad. They extensively spoke about the significance of getting HBA2 test done before family planning and how it helps in reducing the birth rate of children with Thalassemia. Additionally, a blood donation drive was also organized to support the cause of Thalassemia.

Volunteers from Voltas Waghodia plant organized several activities at the ‘Apna Ghar Ashram’, Vadodara. As part of the cleaning drive, volunteers thoroughly cleaned the floors, windows, doors, ceilings, fans, frames, terrace, solar panel and the overall compound. Additionally, Voltas team’s electricians rectified the electrical issues at the Ashram. Additionally, a sports activity was organized for the residents.
