Volunteers from Tata Elxsi participated in mural wall painting activity in collaboration with Makkala Jagriti NGO. The volunteers painted the walls of the NGO’s community learning center to make it more attractive for children with murals, cartoon characters and educational illustrations such as useful formulas, science models, motivational words etc.

A team of volunteers led by Mr. Sunil Tiwari, Plant Head CVBU, visited Dyandeep Senior Secondary School in Shive to inaugurate the fully equipped science lab. Leaders from Tata Motors mentored the student, sharing their life journeys and the experiences from their leadership roles. The new science lab is expected to improve the overall academic of the students by integrating practical learning.

A team of volunteers helped in the setting up of mobile toilet facility for girls in Bhairavnath Vidyalaya in Karanjvihare, Chakan. This initiative aims to address the increased rate of dropouts among girls due to proper sanitation facilities.

Volunteers from Tata Motors planted more than 120 trees in Kodith village of Purander Taluk in Pune. With this, over three months, Tata Motors planted more than 20, 000 trees in Kodith. Priority has been given to planting fruit trees as this will be of benefit to the community. Notably, volunteers from the village have been entrusted with the responsibility of nurturing these trees, which not only ensures their well-being but also provides employment opportunities and a source of income for these community members.

TPL Hyderabad volunteers took the initiative of supporting the kitchen at Akshaya Patra Foundation. They visited the centre and understood how Akshaya Patra Foundation works and supports education for community children. They volunteered at the kitchen by preparing the raw material for the meals including activities like peeling and cutting vegetables.

TTL volunteers along with school children participated in a plantation drive. The volunteers also visited the IBT STEM Lab in the school supported under TTL CSR. Post that, the children were split into two groups and the volunteers conducted sessions of ‘Impact of Climate Change’ and ‘Trends in EV and Automotive’. They also engaged with the children through questions and answers.

Volunteers from TTL gathered to clean up an open area that was littered with plastics and garbage. The activity was joined by the members of Hinjewadi Police Station who spoke about the importance of Swachh Bharat and keeping the environment clean.
