Tata Technologies: 30 Volunteers from Tata Technologies went to “Prathamik Kanya Shala” & “Prathamik Mulanchi Shala” at Wakad, Hinjewadi and spent 5 hours in two batches. They served Mid-day meal to 500 students at school. After the meal, all volunteers divided themselves into two groups and held a session on Value Education and a drawing activity for 1st to 4th standard students. Volunteers shared their knowledge through presentations and videos and all the girls and boys enjoyed the educational & drawing activities |

Tata Teleservices (TTL) had raised Rs. 30,000 for SES School, Hyderabad last year through a Christmas cake auction. On the launch of Tata Volunteering Week-3 on 3rd March 2015, TTL donated a much needed printer to the school, bought with the auction money. TTL volunteers throughout the year with SES, with employees undertaking career counselling and conducting Physics and Chemistry classes for students! |

On account of Tata Foundation day ie 3rd March, Kolkata branch initiated the Tata Volunteer Week, by jointly coming forward to work towards keeping the city clean. They cleaned the pavements, road, sapling plantation areas and also put placards to remind people not to litter the place. |

Tata AIG colleagues in Delhi visited Sshristi Foundation which runs school for under privileged children and provides small scale employment to under-privileged women through ‘Mahila Samiti’. Tata AIG colleagues spent time with school children and women of ‘Mahila Samiti’ and also played holi along with the kids. A ‘Dholwala’ was arranged by the volunteers and the enthusiastic kids danced to the ‘Dhol’ being played. It was an environment full of fun and frolic. It not only brought smiles on the faces of kids but also on our colleagues faces who were present on the occasion. Small gifts and snacks were arranged for the kids. |

On March 03, 2015, Taj Corporate Office in Mumbai kick started Tata Volunteering Week (TVW) 3 with the unveiling and launch of the Volunteering Pledge Wall. Associates from all departments came out to pledge their support and commit their time to volunteer. The TVW 3 pledge wall showcases the hand imprints of the different volunteers who have committed to join the volunteering sessions planned from March 3rd to April 5th in light of TVW 3. |

On the occasion of Founder’s day, based on the true Tata spirit of giving back to society – “A painting and a Skit competition” for children from Nithari Village was organised in partnership with SADRAG UP by Tata Chemicals, Noida office. In all, 14 employees volunteered. The purpose of the skit and painting competition was to encourage the creativity in the children. There were in all 40 children from the age group of 6 to 14 years who enthusiastically took part in both the activities. Before beginning the competition the children were asked to introduce themselves and what they want to become in life, listening to their dreams, Mr. Harshdeep Singh, AVP Commercial encouraged them to put in efforts towards their goal and achieve it. Mr. Manoj Chaturvedi, Head SCM created awareness on importance of farming. The activity ended with prize distribution. Overall the two hour activity not only filled hopes in children, but also left the volunteers encouraged and filled with Joy. |

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited: Founder’s Day celebration and Tata Volunteering Week III in Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. kick started with 2 Blood donation Camps, in association with Indian Red Cross Society, organized at the office locations of Keshavpuram and Sec 11, Rohini. The camps saw a registration of 144 employees and a total of 110 units of blood were collected.
Customer Services department of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. celebrated 176th birth anniversary of Late Shri J N Tata with the tutorial students from standard Ist to Vth at Wazirpur VT Center. The team spent quality time with them and interacted about TATA Power and usage of electricity. Volunteers also distributed lunch boxes and chocolates to them. Kids expressed their happiness and gratitude to the volunteers. |

TVW3 celebration in "JeelaParisadpratahmikSaala" School Shirur by TGY CSR Team along with seniors & employees. Activities along two themes were undertaken by the volunteers. Under "CHILDREN WELL BEING" volunteers provided learning books to all the children, conducted a drawing competition & rewarded the children. Under "ENVIRONMENT CARE & AWARENESS", volunteers cleaned in & around the school including bathroom & kitchen areas of the school.
Volunteers also undertook sapling plantation & educated the children on the importance of maintaining every day hygiene in life. |
