On October 6, 27 volunteers from TajSATS Kolkata conducted a Cleaning Drive at the Old Airport Terminal Curbside. The team collected plastic bottles, paper waste, and other litter from the area, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment. The initiative reflected the volunteers’ commitment to maintaining public hygiene and promoting community responsibility within their surroundings.

On September 11, TRF Limited successfully organized the first edition of its biannual blood donation camp, Navjeevan, led by the TRF Ladies Association (TRFLA) in collaboration with Jamshedpur Blood Centre and the Voluntary Blood Donors’ Association (VBDA). A total of 222 units of blood were collected, contributing significantly to meeting the needs of patients in Jamshedpur. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Umesh Kumar Singh (Managing Director), Mr. Anand Chand (CFO), Mr. Abhijeet Singh (CHRO), Mr. Rakeshwar Pandey (President, TRF Labour Union), Mr. Anjani Kumar (General Secretary, TRF Labour Union), and Ms. Shweta Gupta (TRFLA). Tata Teleservices employees participated in She Run 2025 — a breast cancer awareness marathon organized by PCC Cancer Care & Research Center. The event also saw participation from DAV School students and teachers. Ginger Kerala associates united for a life-saving cause during Tata Volunteering Week by organizing a Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with Lisie Blood Centre, Kochi. A total of 27 volunteers from three Ginger locations—MG Road, Kalamassery, and TCS Kochi—came together to donate blood, embodying the spirit of empathy and service. As part of Tata Volunteering Week 24, the bakery team from La Estoria IHCL SeleQtions, led by Chef Prem Sagar Singh with the support of Sai Padwal and Abhishek Rao, conducted a special bakery workshop at Cooj Mental Health Foundation, Mapusa. The session aimed to train the NGO’s in-house bakers in creating new-age products such as centre-filled chocolates and cookies. Beyond sharing technical baking skills like chocolate tempering and recipe precision, the workshop fostered creativity, engagement, and joy among participants. As part of an ongoing environmental awareness initiative, Tata Motors employees in Jamshedpur conducted sessions across residential areas to educate communities about the hazards of electronic waste and the importance of responsible disposal. The volunteers also facilitated e-waste collection from these localities, ensuring that discarded electronics were properly managed. Conducted in collaboration with Tata Croma, the activity involved sensitization sessions for employee SPOCs, with Croma overseeing the collection from designated centers. In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Tata Motors Jamshedpur organized a community awareness session on 1st October at Bari Nagar to promote early detection and self-care among women. Breast cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths in urban India, primarily due to delayed diagnosis. To address this, 30 women employees from Tata Motors received specialized training on self-breast examination and early warning signs, enabling them to become peer educators. These trained volunteers have since reached over 1,500 women through outreach and engagement activities. The initiative reflects Tata Motors’ commitment to empowering women through knowledge and proactive healthcare practices.

In a heartwarming display of compassion and inclusion, Tata Motors Jamshedpur volunteers organized a special zoo outing for children from Mahamilan Seva Ashram and Anand Marg Shishu Sadan. In the spirit of promoting safe celebrations ahead of Diwali, Tata Chemicals Limited, in collaboration with the Government Fire Service Department (Cuddalore OT), organized a Fire and Crackers Safety Awareness Program at the Government Higher Secondary School, Karaikadu, Cuddalore District. The interactive session included live demonstrations on fire prevention, safe cracker handling, and emergency response techniques. Supported by TCL employee volunteers, the initiative educated 258 students on responsible celebration practices and essential safety measures. As part of the celebration of 25 years of Literacy as a Service, the Resource Management Group team from Tata Consultancy Services conducted an EoEo session in collaboration with Sahyadri Foundation, Nagpur. The session focused on creating awareness about key citizenship entitlements, empowering individuals to access their rights and benefits effectively. The activity was held at Sahyadri Foundation’s Ashtha Shelter Home, which provides rehabilitation and care to 70 rescued individuals from the streets. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and collective responsibility toward maintaining public spaces. Volunteers actively contributed to cleaning the park premises, reinforcing the message of hygiene, sustainability, and community engagement. Tata Consultancy Services’ Ultimatix team associates visited the Hyderabad Council of Human Welfare (HCHW) school, where they distributed notebooks and stationery to 400 children. The visit fostered meaningful interaction as associates spent time engaging with the students, learning about their aspirations, and sharing inspiring stories from their own journeys. The children responded with enthusiasm and curiosity, making the initiative a memorable exchange that encouraged learning and motivation.

Titan volunteers conducted a beach cleaning drive at Prabhadevi Beach, Dadar, aimed at reducing pollution and protecting marine life by removing harmful waste from the shoreline. Equipped with gloves and bags, the team diligently cleared debris and litter, helping to restore the beach’s natural beauty while promoting environmental responsibility. Their collective effort not only improved coastal cleanliness but also fostered greater awareness about the importance of preserving marine ecosystems.

Voltas volunteers constructed small check dams (Vanrai Bandharas) at Koral Wadi, Pen, Raigarh, to help address the issue of water scarcity faced by tribal residents during non-monsoon seasons. These check dams enable rainwater storage, ensuring that wells in the surrounding areas retain sufficient water throughout the year. The initiative successfully promoted sustainable water management and supported rural livelihoods. Senior leader Mr. Sankaranarayanan Jawahar also participated in the activity.
