Bringing empathy to life, employees from Tata Chemicals and Rallis came together at the corporate office in Wadala, Mumbai, to create customized learning aids and tactile books for children with disabilities. The hands-on session, conducted in collaboration with the Helen Keller Institute for Deaf & Deafblind (HKIDB) and Needsync Foundation, allowed volunteers to better understand the unique learning needs of these children. Some participants even continued the effort from home, ensuring the impact reached further. Encouraged by senior leadership, the activity reflected a shared commitment to inclusive education and community engagement.

Bringing essential healthcare closer to rural communities, Tata Chemicals volunteers organized a general medical camp at Boricha village in Ranavav, Porbandar. With the support of 13 dedicated volunteers from the Mining Department, 99 villagers received free medical consultations and medicines. The team managed registration, patient guidance, and coordination—ensuring smooth operations throughout the camp. Beyond providing treatment, the initiative also helped raise awareness about preventive healthcare, reinforcing Tata Chemicals’ commitment to community well-being and accessible medical support.

As part of Tata Volunteering Week 24 and in observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, employees from Tata Projects Limited visited St. Jude’s India Child Care Centre, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, to spread joy and positivity among children battling cancer.
The event, themed “Little Warrior Day,” brought together volunteers and children aged 1 to 14 years for a day of laughter, creativity, and hope. Activities included craft sessions, the traditional Bathukamma dance, and music and dance performances, fostering a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Fruits, cookies, and chocolates were distributed to children and their parents, adding sweetness to the day’s celebrations.

From September 18–20, under the Khelo Jharkhand Sports Tournaments at Cluster, Block, and District levels, 35 archers from three KGBV schools supported by TMILL showcased their talent and determination. The young athletes earned a total of 45 medals—17 Gold, 11 Silver, and 17 Bronze. Notably, 10 archers have been selected for the State Level tournament, including 5 from these schools. This achievement reflects the hard work of the students and the dedication of their coaches, highlighting TMILL’s commitment to education, skill development, and nurturing young talent in sports. The school supports 30–35 specially-abled students with therapies including speech, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. Volunteers spent quality time engaging with the children and distributed study and drawing kits, sweets, and chocolates. The visit fostered joyful interactions and reinforced support for the holistic development of specially-abled students.

Conducted across multiple locations — Tata Power Peninsula Centre (Parel), Dharavi Receiving Station, Trombay Thermal Power Plant, and BKC Substation — the initiative nurtured empathy, teamwork, and awareness within the corporate ecosystem.
