Bringing empathy to life, employees from Tata Chemicals and Rallis came together at the corporate office in Wadala, Mumbai, to create customized learning aids and tactile books for children with disabilities. The hands-on session, conducted in collaboration with the Helen Keller Institute for Deaf & Deafblind (HKIDB) and Needsync Foundation, allowed volunteers to better understand the unique learning needs of these children. Some participants even continued the effort from home, ensuring the impact reached further. Encouraged by senior leadership, the activity reflected a shared commitment to inclusive education and community engagement.

Bringing essential healthcare closer to rural communities, Tata Chemicals volunteers organized a general medical camp at Boricha village in Ranavav, Porbandar. With the support of 13 dedicated volunteers from the Mining Department, 99 villagers received free medical consultations and medicines. The team managed registration, patient guidance, and coordination—ensuring smooth operations throughout the camp. Beyond providing treatment, the initiative also helped raise awareness about preventive healthcare, reinforcing Tata Chemicals’ commitment to community well-being and accessible medical support.

In alignment with the Government of India’s Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2025, the Mining Department of Tata Chemicals Limited organized a series of awareness and cleanliness activities at Boricha village in Ranavav, Porbandar. The programs included a painting competition for school children, prize distribution, and a cleanliness drive within school premises, followed by a community swachhata campaign. Through these initiatives, volunteers promoted the importance of hygiene, environmental responsibility, and civic engagement—instilling a sense of ownership for a cleaner and greener future among young students and local residents.

As part of Tata Volunteering Week 24 and in observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, employees from Tata Projects Limited visited St. Jude’s India Child Care Centre, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, to spread joy and positivity among children battling cancer.
The event, themed “Little Warrior Day,” brought together volunteers and children aged 1 to 14 years for a day of laughter, creativity, and hope. Activities included craft sessions, the traditional Bathukamma dance, and music and dance performances, fostering a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Fruits, cookies, and chocolates were distributed to children and their parents, adding sweetness to the day’s celebrations.

As part of Tata Volunteering Week 24, volunteers from Tata Projects’ NOIDA Regional Office visited SADRAG (Social and Development Research & Action Group), an NGO supporting women and children through education, health, and livelihood initiatives. Volunteers interacted with women at the stitching center, donated collected clothes, and engaged children in interactive learning sessions and fun activities. The initiative fostered meaningful connections while promoting education, empowerment, and community development.

As part of Tata Volunteering Week 24, volunteers from Tata Projects’ Kevadia site participated in a blood donation drive, giving the precious gift of life to those in need. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the IHCL team and the Lions Club of Baroda Blood Centre. Through their collective effort, employees demonstrated compassion and social responsibility while supporting a vital healthcare cause.

On September 26, volunteers from Tata Projects’ KRCL project site in Reasi (J&K) visited a nearby government primary school as part of the Kindness Connect initiative. They conducted interactive sessions on basic first aid and road safety using digital media and worksheets to make learning engaging. The volunteers also led a soft skills session, guiding students on how to introduce themselves in English. To encourage continued learning, each child received an education kit containing notebooks and stationery.

On September 20, volunteers from Tata Teleservices joined hands with Communitree for a beach clean-up drive at Thiruvanmiyur Beach in Chennai. The team worked together to clear large amounts of plastic, glass, and other non-biodegradable waste, restoring the beauty of the shoreline and promoting environmental responsibility. Beyond cleaning, the initiative sparked meaningful conversations and inspired participants to take small but impactful steps toward a cleaner, greener planet. The drive also saw participation from employees’ family members, strengthening the sense of community and shared purpose.

Volunteers from Rallis India Limited conducted a Home Safety Awareness Session at Government Primary School, Lakhigam. The session educated students on essential home safety practices, including precautions against electrical hazards, fire risks, sharp objects, and unsafe storage of chemicals or medicines. As part of Tata Volunteering Week (TVW-24), Rallis India Limited conducted a Pre-Numeracy Program at Ho Wadala to strengthen foundational math skills among deaf and blind students. The initiative focused on enhancing their learning and day-to-day functional abilities through tailored educational support. Rallis India Limited organized a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session at Shantivan Boarding School, Wakadi, Panvel. The session aimed to educate adolescent girls on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and dispel taboos surrounding menstruation. Over 1,000 sanitary napkins were handed over to the school administration as part of the initiative. Volunteers from Rallis India Ltd conducted a Fire Safety Awareness Session at Government ITI Vagra, led by Factory Safety Officer Mr. Mohnish Modi and his team. Students were guided on essential fire safety precautions, emergency response techniques, and the importance of staying alert during fire-related incidents. The program aimed to equip young minds with practical knowledge and preparedness, fostering awareness and empowering them to respond effectively in case of emergencies.

On September 27, the TAJ SATS Delhi Team, in collaboration with Tata Nexarc, visited Tamanna NGO—a shelter for abandoned women—for a Tree Plantation and Donation Drive. Together with the residents, volunteers planted fruit trees, promoting environmental awareness and fostering community bonding. The day also included games, snacks, and refreshments, creating joy and meaningful engagement while spreading smiles and warmth throughout the shelter.

On September 13, Tata Play employees participated in the Post Visarjan Beach Clean Up at Juhu Koliwada Beach, organized by WWF India in collaboration with Project Mumbai. Seven volunteers, including CFO Mr. Sambasivan, actively contributed to removing waste and preserving the coastal environment, demonstrating the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and community engagement.

On September 21, Tata Play employees and family members participated in a Trek & Plog Activity at Lal Baug Botanical Garden, Bangalore, organized by Team Everest. A total of 12 volunteers, including 9 employees and 3 family members, combined trekking with picking up litter to promote fitness, environmental awareness, and community responsibility.

On September 17, Tata Play employees volunteered at a Blood Donation Camp organized at Kirloskar Business Park, Bangalore, in collaboration with Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad. A total of 12 employees participated in this noble initiative, contributing to life-saving efforts and reinforcing the company’s commitment to social responsibility.

On September 21, Tata Play employees and their family members visited the Ghar Sant Ishwar Foundation in Yerawada, Pune, in collaboration with Team Everest NGO. A total of 17 participants—including 9 employees and 8 family members—engaged in this meaningful initiative, spreading joy, support, and care to the elderly and children residing at the home and orphanage.

From September 18–20, under the Khelo Jharkhand Sports Tournaments at Cluster, Block, and District levels, 35 archers from three KGBV schools supported by TMILL showcased their talent and determination. The young athletes earned a total of 45 medals—17 Gold, 11 Silver, and 17 Bronze. Notably, 10 archers have been selected for the State Level tournament, including 5 from these schools. This achievement reflects the hard work of the students and the dedication of their coaches, highlighting TMILL’s commitment to education, skill development, and nurturing young talent in sports. The event was conducted in Jamshedpur.

On 13th September 2025, 15 volunteers from TMILL (10 TMILL employees, 3 Associates, and 2 Contractual/Others) visited AAS Vidyalaya, a digital school for children unable to attend regular schools due to distance, financial constraints, health conditions, or other challenges. Volunteers spent quality time engaging students in fun-filled activities and distributed study materials, stationery, sweets, and chocolates. The initiative created joyful and meaningful interactions while supporting the school’s mission to make education accessible to all.

On 26th September, 6 volunteers from TMILL (4 TMILL employees and 2 Associates) visited Jagruty School, a special education center for mentally, physically, and hearing-impaired students in Paradip. The school supports 30–35 specially-abled students with therapies including speech, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. Volunteers spent quality time engaging with the children and distributed study and drawing kits, sweets, and chocolates. The visit fostered joyful interactions and reinforced support for the holistic development of specially-abled students.

On October 1, 35 employees from Tata Motors Limited, Pantnagar, participated in a large-scale plantation drive at the CRPF Campus, Haldwani, planting a total of 500 saplings. The species included Pomegranate, Jamun, Amla, Guava, Tamarind, Amaltas, Gulmohar, Cassia Samia, and Cassia Guluka — all native to the region and selected for their ecological benefits. The initiative was graced by the presence of senior leaders Mr. Mahesh Suguru (Plant Head), Mr. Vishnu Dutt (Head HR), and Mr. Hemraj Naik (Union General Secretary), reflecting the company’s continued commitment to environmental sustainability and community collaboration.

Between September 19 and 24, 75 volunteers from Tata Power participated in a sensitization initiative aimed at promoting inclusion and understanding of neurodiversity. Volunteers designed engaging flashcards and tactile study kits tailored for children with neurodiverse learning styles, fostering sustainable and accessible education. Conducted across multiple locations — Tata Power Peninsula Centre (Parel), Dharavi Receiving Station, Trombay Thermal Power Plant, and BKC Substation — the initiative nurtured empathy, teamwork, and awareness within the corporate ecosystem. The activity was graced by Ms. Ketayun Fallahzadeh, Head – Risk Management, Ethics & Compliance, who supported and encouraged volunteer participation.
