On September 18, 40 volunteers from Tata Electronics Private Limited dedicated 80 hours to dispersing over 10,000 seedballs in Melumalai forest, supporting biodiversity and forest regeneration. The seedballs, previously prepared by volunteers, contained native seeds aimed at restoring greenery in the region. A similar initiative was earlier carried out in Udedurgam forest on September 5, further strengthening the company’s commitment to environmental conservation and ecological balance.

As part of a healthcare initiative, Tata Electronics volunteers, along with experts from NIMHANS, conducted a mental wellbeing program for women at Nagamangalam Community Hall on September 19 and 25. Across September 17, 20, 23, and 24, volunteers from Tata Electronics dedicated 155 hours to environmental initiatives. At Vidiyal Residency, 91 volunteers made over 6,800 seedballs using native seeds such as neem, tamarind, and pungam, which will later be dispersed in the Reserved Forest area of Krishnagiri District to support forest regeneration. In addition, more than 3,000 eco-friendly carry bags crafted by volunteers were distributed to vendors and farmers at the Farmers’ Market in Hosur, helping reduce single-use plastic and promoting sustainable practices.
