On September 16, Tata Consultancy Services organized a blood donation camp at its Commerzone office in Pune, where fifty volunteers came forward to donate blood. The initiative resulted in the collection of fifty units, directly supporting medical needs and saving lives. By fostering a culture of volunteering and community care, the camp reflected TCS’s commitment to social responsibility and collective well-being.

At Ecospace 1B, Kolkata, more than 350 TCS volunteers transformed their cafeteria into a hub of green action, rolling soil, fertilizer, and seeds into thousands of seed balls containing Spider Lily, Tuberose, Arica Plum, Tomato, Pumpkin, Cucumber, and Gourd. Held on September 13, the activity turned into a lively competition of “mini crackers” versus “giant mud bombs,” dissolving hierarchies as associates, leaders, and senior leader Mr. Milind Kamble came together to prepare seed balls for dispersal across neighborhoods. With 1,750 hours of collective effort, the initiative combined teamwork, fun, and environmental purpose, encouraging sustainable urban greening and proving that even a ball of mud can bloom into meaningful change.

As the sun rose over Juhu Koliwada Beach in Mumbai, over 350 TCS volunteers rolled up their sleeves on September 13 to clear litter, remove waste, and restore the shoreline’s natural beauty. Contributing 1,750 hours of collective effort, the clean-up drive created a visible transformation while raising awareness about responsible practices and community stewardship. Senior leader Mr. Milind Kamble joined the initiative alongside volunteers, encouraging their efforts and reinforcing the message that preserving natural spaces is a shared responsibility for a healthier and more sustainable future.

As part of the Vidyadhanam project, Tata Motors volunteers in Pantnagar dedicated their efforts on September 16 to preparing Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) for government school students of classes VI–X. The models included the structure of blood cells, the respiratory system, the solar system, and the human digestive system, designed to make complex concepts easier to understand and more engaging. These resources will be used in classrooms to support better clarity in learning and strengthen the educational experience of students.

Marking Ozone Day as a celebration of our planet’s shield in the sky, Tata Chemicals organized a poster competition on 16th September 2025 across schools in Gahadechi, Poshitra, Hamusar, Aarbhada, Vasai, Sivrajpur, Gorinja, and Korada, where 178 students showcased their creativity to spread awareness on protecting the ozone layer and embracing sustainable practices. The initiative not only sparked imagination but also deepened environmental responsibility, with teachers and community members reinforcing the call for eco-friendly habits and climate-conscious living.

Celebrating the spirit of innovation on Engineer’s Day, Tata Chemicals organized a Poster and Model Competition on September 15 at Dhinki and Bardiya High Schools, where students showcased creativity and problem-solving skills through engineering concepts. The activity not only encouraged interest in science and technology as future career paths but also highlighted the role of engineers in shaping society, with teachers and community members applauding the students’ innovative presentations.

The art of designing and weaving will never go out of fashion. On September 15, Tata Chemicals celebrated this timeless skill through a tailoring workshop at the Tata Technical Center, Mithapur. Experienced housewives trained young girls in stitching and designing kurtis, guiding them through pattern making, fabric cutting, and sewing techniques. Each participant completed a finished piece, gaining both confidence and practical skills. By blending peer-led learning with community knowledge, the initiative encouraged creativity, self-reliance, and opened doors to future livelihood opportunities.

On September 15, Tata Chemicals organized a certification drive in the Okhamandal region to help persons with disabilities access vital government welfare schemes. With support from volunteers and animators, 12 individuals and their bystanders were transported to Khambhaliya General Hospital for official medical assessment. Six participants successfully received disability certificates, railway concession cards, and UDID cards, paving the way for long-term benefits in healthcare, mobility, and social support. The initiative fostered awareness on the importance of certification and laid the foundation for future drives to reach more beneficiaries.

On September 10, over 160 volunteers from Tata Steel joined a walk-a-thon from Tata Main Hospital, Bistupur, Jamshedpur, to mark World Suicide Prevention Day. The initiative promoted mental health awareness and encouraged open conversations on suicide prevention, highlighting the importance of community support and collective action in fostering well-being.

Volunteers from Tata Steel revived classroom environments at P S Viduit Board Colony and NPS Mahultand, Adityapur, Jamshedpur, by repainting blackboards in government schools. The initiative aimed at creating better learning spaces for young minds, supporting students with clearer, more engaging tools for their daily education.

Volunteers from Tata Steel visited Nakul Chandra Special School in Balramprasad village, Angul, spending time with children with special needs and donating groceries to support their needs. The initiative reflected care, inclusion, and encouragement, fostering a sense of community support and shared responsibility.

Knowing that every second counts in an emergency, Tata Steel organized a comprehensive training session on first aid, CPR, and snakebite management at the Housing Complex, Kharagpur, in collaboration with St. John Ambulance. Over seven hours, participants acquired practical skills to respond effectively in critical situations, strengthening safety awareness and preparedness within the community.

Guiding a young mind can spark lifelong growth, and on September 8, Prerana volunteer Selvaraj dedicated five hours to mentor a student through an external bridge course. Focusing on study habits, mental health, and wellness, the virtual session enhanced the student’s learning outcomes and leadership skills, reflecting Tata Electronics’ commitment to education and personal development.

On September 10, 212 volunteers from Tata Electronics came together at the company premises, in collaboration with an external blood bank, to participate in a blood donation camp. The initiative resulted in 212 units of blood collected and contributed 106 volunteer hours, supporting medical needs and promoting a culture of community care and volunteering.

On September 11, 32 Prerana volunteers from Tata Electronics spent 64 hours at Happy Home Orphanage, Kolar, conducting technical assessments with the children. These assessments will help design life skills modules to provide educational and psycho-social support, fostering learning, confidence, and holistic development among the children.

In a spirited drive to improve local sanitation, 113 Tata Electronics volunteers took to the streets of Jodikrishnapura, Kolar, for a village clean-up on September 18. Guided by the Panchayat Development Officer, the team collected nearly 900–1,000 kgs of waste, responsibly disposing of it while covering every street with energy and dedication. The initiative directly benefited over 750 residents, enhancing health conditions and fostering environmental responsibility through collective action.

Volunteers from Tata Electronics Private Limited conducted interactive STEM sessions for 6th to 9th grade students across three government schools, including Govt. Model Higher Secondary School, Kelamangalam, and Govt. Higher Secondary School, Ullukurukai. Over 56 hours, they carried out baseline assessments, DIY space constellation activities, and model-based science and math lessons in newly enabled STEM and tinkering labs on September 4, 10, and 12, fostering curiosity, hands-on learning, and engagement among young learners.

Safety, just like charity, begins at home. On September 4 and 11, volunteers from Tata Electronics Private Limited conducted domestic safety awareness sessions on LPG handling at Govt. High School, Nagamangalam, and Bommathathanur. Over 38 volunteer hours, students learned how to prevent accidents, respond to emergencies, and practiced safe habits, actively engaging in the sessions to clarify their doubts and build confidence in managing household safety.

On September 8, Tata Electronics Private Limited conducted the SPARK program at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Haleseebam, in collaboration with the API team. Over 87 volunteer hours, 35 volunteers engaged students through career guidance, professional interactions, and skill-building sessions, providing real-world exposure and mentorship to help them explore future opportunities and develop essential competencies.

On September 13, Tata Electronics Private Limited supported a large-scale health camp under the Nalam Kaakum Stalin scheme at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Shoolagiri. Over 122 volunteers contributed 732 hours to assist with registration, measurements, data entry, crowd management, and food distribution, while providing 13+ types of health check-ups including ENT, eye exams, ECG/ECHO, and preventive screenings for HIV and VIA. Transport was arranged for ANC mothers from three villages, and health insurance enrolment under CMCHIS was facilitated, ensuring comprehensive care and outreach to the community.

On September 12, 63 volunteers from Tata AutoComp distributed 500 school kits to five ZP schools in Hinjewadi and Chakan under Project HoPE. Thoughtfully assembled by over 100 enthusiastic Change Makers during their induction, each kit included essentials like notebooks, textbooks, and school bags. The initiative not only provided practical support for young learners but also fostered a sense of community and encouragement, helping build brighter futures for the students.

As part of Tata Capital’s 18th Year of Excellence celebrations and the kickoff of Tata Volunteering Week on September 12, employees across Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai enthusiastically planted 800 saplings in collaboration with Mission Green Mumbai. This collective effort not only fostered team spirit but also supported the company’s flagship afforestation programme, Vanaropan for Neutrality (VN), contributing to ecological restoration and promoting greener, more sustainable surroundings.

Voltas Ltd. organized a blood donation drive at its Faridabad office on September 11 and at the MEP Project Site Office (IKEA, Gurugram) on September 12, contributing 96.5 volunteer hours. Employees, inspired by senior leaders Mr. Sharad Thussu and Mr. Dharmendra Vaishya, donated blood to support public health, emergency medical care, and treatment of chronic illnesses. This initiative not only helped address critical blood shortages but also reinforced community welfare and civic responsibility, highlighting the collective impact of voluntary action in saving lives.

On September 12, 115 volunteers from Voltas HO Mumbai came together at the Chinchpokli office for a blood donation activity. The initiative supported critical medical needs, contributed to saving lives, and promoted a culture of volunteering and community care among employees.

On September 17, 25 volunteers at Voltas House, Mumbai, dedicated 50 hours to making eco-friendly paper pens using old newspapers. The activity promoted sustainable practices, encouraged creative recycling, and supported children’s education by providing environment-friendly learning tools.

A blood donation camp was organized on September 6 at Voltas RAC Pantnagar in collaboration with the Government Hospital. A total of 113 volunteers participated, contributing 342 hours and supporting the collection of blood units to strengthen emergency medical care. The initiative was further encouraged by the presence of senior leaders, including Plant Head RAC – Mr. Karan Thakur and Plant Head CR – Mr. Navish Hegde, motivating employees to come forward for this meaningful cause.

On September 6, a tree plantation drive was organized at the Employment Exchange, Rudrapur in collaboration with government authorities. Twenty-two volunteers contributed 66 hours to plant saplings and promote greener surroundings. The initiative was further strengthened by the presence of senior leaders, including Plant Head RAC – Mr. Karan Thakur and Plant Head CR – Mr. Navish Hegde, who actively encouraged participation.

A guest lecture was delivered at Apex Institute, Rudrapur on September 10, where Plant Head RAC – Mr. Karan Thakur engaged with students, sharing valuable insights to enrich their learning and inspire future career pathways. One volunteer contributed 3 hours to this initiative, which strengthened the institute–industry connect and supported knowledge building.

On September 11, volunteers at the Hinjewadi campus came together to sort and organize stationery and sports items collected from employees. The curated materials were prepared for distribution to two CSR-supported schools, supporting quality education for students. A total of 26 volunteers contributed 26 hours to this initiative in collaboration with CSR India Partner.

On September 12, 19 volunteers from Tata Technologies spent 57 hours engaging with students at a CSR-supported school in Pune through games, conversations, and motivational interactions. They also distributed stationery and sports items, combining encouragement with essential resources to support learning and overall development.

80 volunteers from Tata Technologies contributed 120 hours during a blood donation drive at the IT 3 Campus, Pune. The initiative, organised in collaboration with the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), celebrated the spirit of volunteering and supported the noble cause of saving lives, reflecting a strong commitment to community health and welfare. The activity was conducted on September 16.

A total of 33 volunteers from Tata Technologies contributed 49.5 hours during a blood donation drive at the SEZ 4 Campus, Pune. The initiative, organised in collaboration with Acharya Anandrishiji Pune Blood Centre, celebrated the spirit of volunteering and supported the noble cause of saving lives, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community health and welfare. The activity was conducted on September 17, 2025.

On the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, 42 volunteers from the Ramban-Banihal project site of Tata Projects in Jammu and Kashmir, along with nearby community members, planted 100 saplings in a park area frequented by children and the elderly. The event included discussions on the importance of maintaining green cover, improving air quality, and conserving biodiversity.

A group of 40 volunteers dedicated 140 hours to a heartwarming initiative at an NGO in Chembur, Mumbai, focused on supporting persons with disabilities. The day was filled with joy and meaningful interactions, beginning with sharing snacks and gifting bottles to the differently abled individuals. A lively Zumba session brought smiles to everyone’s faces, and a visit to their work areas offered an inspiring glimpse into their talents and dedication. The event was further enriched by the presence of senior leader Ravinder Gupta and the participation of employees’ children, making it a truly collaborative and memorable experience.
