More than 50kits were distributed. An awareness session on nutrition for kids, pregnant and lactating mothers was also conducted.

An awareness session was conducted by 96 volunteers from APPL – Bhelaguri Tea Estate with a demonstration of handwashing and personal hygiene session amongst the students of Bahbari Govt. L.P. school near the Debrapara Division. The session focused on personal hygiene, general hand washing, maintaining of physical health with exercise and yoga.

The volunteers conducted a session on health and fitness for students at the Middle School, Jhargovindpur. The session began with introduction to the fundamentals of fitness and the vital role it plays in leading a balanced life. TCL volunteers, retirees and family members came together to fill nursery bags and transplant seedlings into bags, as part of the indigenous flora nursery development program. The initiative to improve ecology and strengthen biodiversity of the Mithapur township. The seedlings shall be raised to sapling stage in the nursery and subsequently planted in wilderness of Mithapur.

TCSRD organized a plastic collection drive that involved primary school student and teachers from the Hamushar Primary School. The activity aimed to spread awareness regarding plastic waste, the disadvantages of use of plastic and the threat it poses for animals, human and aquatic life.
