An awareness session on hygiene

An awareness session on hygiene was organised by the volunteers from Ginger Hotels, Pantnagar, at Transit Camp, Udham Singh Nagar. The session shared various ways of personal hygiene to be incorporated in daily life and its impact on overall health.
An awareness campaign on plastic usage
- Indian Hotels Company Limited
An awareness session on ‘say no to plastic’ was organised by the volunteers from Ginger Hotels, Pantnagar, at Metropolis City, Rudrapur. The volunteers encouraged the community to stop using single-use plastic bags and to include reusable materials in daily life.
Engineer’s Day celebration

Volunteers from Tata Chemicals organised Engineer’s Day celebrations at Gadhechi Ashram School where students, with the support of volunteers, showcased their engineering models. Volunteers assisted with setup, provided guidance during the competition, and helped judge the models based on creativity, functionality, and technical accuracy.
Engineer’s Day: Model making workshop

Volunteers from Tata Chemicals organised Engineer’s Day: Model making workshop at Varvala Ashram School. In this workshop, students, guided by volunteers, engaged in creating various engineering models using materials like cardboard, plastic straws, popsicle sticks, and other craft supplies. The workshop involved hands-on building, problem-solving, and creative design, culminating in a presentation session where students showcased and explained their models.
Recording of GPS coordinates of plantation sites

Volunteers from Tata Chemicals organised a plantation drive in villages surrounding Mithapur under TCSRD’s greening programme. Field visit was organized for verification of plantations done and recording of GPS coordinates for each plantation site.
Plastic waste collection
- Tata Chemicals
Volunteers from Tata Chemicals organised a plastic waste collection activity at the lime embankment plantation site on Gyan Sagar road at Mithapur. The volunteers helped in collection of garden waste and removal of plastics from the organic waste, which shall be converted into compost manure and used as input for plantations. Mr. N. Kamath, Chief Manufacturing Officer and Site Head, participated in the activity.
Deworming camp for cattle

Volunteers from Tata Chemicals organised a deworming camp for cattle at Makanpur and Shivrajpur villages as well as in Hamusar village, Okhamandal. Deworming tablets were provided to the farmers for their cattle which will improve the health of the animals by eliminating the parasite and enhancing the quality of milk production.
World Ozone Day Celebration

Volunteers from Tata Chemicals organised a quiz competition based on ocean-related topics at Varvala Ashram School. The quiz tested the students’ knowledge on various aspects of ocean science, marine biology, environmental conservation and global ocean issues. Volunteers organized and moderated the quiz, prepared questions, and facilitated the competition.
A session on education with the tribal community

Volunteers from Tata Steel Gamharia organised a session with the tribal community on education at Salampather, Gamharia. The volunteers provided simple, accessible strategies to help parents foster an environment that values education. They also introduced the community to various educational and skill development opportunities available through TSF’s initiatives.
A session on global warming

Volunteers from Tata Steel Gamharia organised a session on global warming at Vani Vidya Mandir, Gamharia. In this session, the students were introduced to the causes and consequences of global warming. The volunteers explained how the greenhouse gas effect contributes to rising global temperatures, leading to environmental challenges such as melting ice caps, sea-level rise and extreme weather events.
A session on integrated farming system

Volunteers from Tata Steel Gamharia organised a session on integrated farming system at Pindrabera Village, Gamharia. They interacted with 30 active women members of the Self-help group (SHG) where they stressed on the importance of new techniques and technologies in farming to increase efficiency and profitability.
Plogging drive

Volunteers of TMILL organised a Plogging Drive – collecting plastic waste while jogging - at the Kolkata office. Plogging combined a 1 hour walk with picking up litter, particularly plastic waste, from public spaces. During this activity, employees actively participated in cleaning up the area surrounding the Kolkata office, collecting significant amounts of plastic waste while staying physically active. The CHRO and Chief of CSR and Sustainability participated in the activity and lead by example.
Beach Clean-up Drive

Volunteers of TMILL organised a beach clean-up drive at Paradip Beach, with the goal of removing plastic waste and debris, contributing to the preservation of the local marine ecosystem.
Engagement activity with AAS Vidyalaya students
- TMILL
Volunteers of TMILL organised an engagement activity with the students of AAS Vidyalaya, Paradip, where they interacted with the students, engaging in conversations about their academic goals and challenges, while providing guidance and support for their studies. To motivate the students further, prizes were awarded to those who excelled in their recent internal test exams, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
A session on education and sports development
- TMILL
Volunteers of TMILL organised a session on education and sports development with coaches of archery at TMILL Jamshedpur office, to identify and understand the concerns of coaches and students. This session helped in identifying the areas of improvements and support for betterment of students.
Food distribution drive
- TMILL
Volunteers of TMILL organised a food distribution drive at Adityapur slum area, Jamshedpur, where they distributed food packets to the underprivileged children ensuring every child receives the necessary nutrients for their growth and development.
Blood donation drives
- Voltas
Across locations, volunteers at Voltas organised a blood donation drives towards enhancing availability of blood to those in critical need.
An awareness session on World Ozone Day
- Voltas
An awareness session on World Ozone Day was organised by the volunteers of Voltas Pantnagar at Voltas Skill Development Centre, Bhurarani, Rudrapur, to encourage all students contribute towards environmental sustainability.
Self-awareness session with children
- Tata Chemicals
Volunteers conducted a session on ‘Good touch and bad touch’ for young students of Rajpara Primary School. The session focused on educating children about appropriate and inappropriate physical contact to help them understand personal boundaries and safety, and protect themselves from abuse.
