The ProEngage initiative gave me a great opportunity to come out of my functional zone and engage with the society on real issues. It’s a unique platform, which helped me contribute my part in paying back to society with my focused effort. As a ProEngager, we partner in the journey of change which we wish to see in our society. It gives me great satisfaction that our effort is yielding tangible benefits and helping in improving our surroundings.
It has helped me in understanding various challenges being faced by rural people on the health and hygiene front, which can be reduced up to a certain extent by raising awareness and understanding its genesis. It was really pleasant to see my efforts help the NGO partner in raising awareness and conducting informative sessions effectively. As a ProEngager, it has been a challenging experience, but also a life-changing one. I have also realized my potential and hidden capabilities during the course of the project.
