Volunteers from Rallis India Ltd, Ankleshwar unit organised a fire safety awareness session for Primary Girls School, Kosamdi students. The Factory Safety Officer conducted this session and a team of volunteers shared their insights related to fire safety. They also conducted live demonstration of safety measures.

A team of volunteers from Rallis India SEZ Dahej unit conducted awareness sessions on home safety for students from the Primary Girls School, Dahej. The Factory Safety Officer conducted the sessions and shared insights with students through an interactive presentation.

The volunteers from Rallis India, SEZ Dahej conducted a first aid training program for students from the Primary Boys School, Dahej. The Factory Medical Officer and first aider team conducted this session.

Rallis India volunteers from Ankleshwar unit conducted a menstrual hygiene awareness session for girl students of government primary school in Dadhal. Along with a doctor, the women volunteers organised this session. Additionally, they distributed sanitary napkins to all the girls.

Rallis India Ankleshwar Unit volunteers conducted animal husbandry training program for five selected villages of tribal farmers of the Narmada district. Veterinary Dr. Gulabsinh Vasava conducted this session and spread awareness about animal husbandry.

A team of volunteers from Rallis India Ankleshwar Unit conducted a drawing competition for tribal community students. Over 50 students from class 1 – 5 of Primary School, Nalakund, Sagbara District, Narmada participated in the program. The volunteers provided drawing sheets, stationery kit and colour box to all students.

Volunteers from TajSats Delhi distributed snacks and stationery kits to underprivileged children. The kids interacted with the volunteers, shared their goals and displayed their talent by reciting poems and singing songs.

Volunteers from Tata Elxsi Chennai organised and participated in a blood donation drive to help children living with cancer. 48 volunteers donated blood to support the cause.

92 volunteers from Tata Elxsi Chennai patrolled 5 km stretch of the Marina Beach during midnight to ensure safe hatching of the Olive Ridley Sea turtles that nest on the beaches in and around Chennai every night.

TPCODL volunteers visited the Deaf and Mute School, Palaspalli, Bhubaneswar, where they Interacted with the special students and spend heartfelt moments through story telling sessions in sign languages. Additionally, the volunteers also distributed nutritional items to the students.

135 volunteers from TPSSL participated in a cleaning drive together with NSS students and employees. They cleaned the entire Jakkasandra Village in Bengaluru and spread awareness among communities on maintenance of the surrounding.

72 volunteers from TPSSL Manufacturing Plant celebrated women’s day by participating in a plantation drive. They planted 280 beetle nut saplings.

Volunteers from TPSSL Manufacturing plant came together to distribute electronic wheel chairs to specially-abled children and additionally, conducted road safety awareness session.

20 volunteers came together to participate in a plantation drive organised at Tata Power Solar, Bengaluru.

Volunteers conducted a session on soft skills and work etiquette for trainees of a CSR partner and handed over educational and other books to the Centre in Pune. The L&OD team created the content and transaction materials keeping in mind the audience. TTL employees also donated books as part of corporate volunteering which were handed over to the Center.

Volunteers of TTBS along with a group called Mangrove Marshalls, participated in a clean-up drive at Mangroves of Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Massive quantities of plastic waste, thermocol, cloth, glass, bottles, footwear, bags, pillows, organic waste etc. were removed from the mangroves during this initiative.

A team of volunteers from TTBS collaborated with Voltas and the NGO Sparsha, to transform the blank walls of a Learning Centre (Balwadi) in Chembur, Mumbai, into a colorful canvas for children. The activity aimed to facilitate learning process for kids while creating a fun learning space for them.

35 volunteers came together to participate in a awareness march to sensitize people about road safety.

Employees from Voltas Waghodia plant organised a volunteering activity at the ‘Kanya shala and Kumar Shala’ in Vadodara. The school provides free education for students from underprivileged families. 18 employees participated supported the service of mid-day meal to over 1300 students studying in the school, ranging from Nursery to standard 10th.

29 volunteers of visited the Nirmal Hriday Missionary of Charity (Mothers Home), Malancha, Kharagpur, on the occasion of International Day of Charity. They donated clothes, fruits, bedsheets and hygiene items for 60 children living in the home. The volunteers also interacted with the kids by singing and dancing with them.

Volunteers organised a sit-and-draw competition, dance programs, singing, rangoli making etc for students of primary schools. The activity emphasised the importance of education, and how children should aim for higher career aspirations.

Volunteers from Tata Steel visited Maheshpur, Kharagpur and helped in preparing the beds for mushroom cultivation. They engaged with women under the livelihood project, thus saving time for mushroom cultivation. The sale of these mushrooms helps rural women in income generation.

200 volunteers and CSR project staff participated in a cleaning drive where they cleaned the surrounding areas of the factory at Gokulpur, Kharagpur. They spread awareness among the shopkeepers adjacent to the plant. The leadership team also participated in cleaning the area and distributing pamphlets on health and hygiene. The volunteers encouraged the shop owners to collect the waste on the side of the road and minimise the use of plastic.

The volunteers organised a domestic safety session for community members to highlight topics such as correct usage of gas cylinders, electrical safety, road safety and more. Simple tips to safeguard themselves and their families were shared with the community.

Volunteers conducted a session on first aid and safety at Raipara Hall, Kharagpur. The medical officer spoke about general first aid tips like what to do in cases of cuts, bruises, snakebites, dehydration and other issues. The team also demonstrated how to address a sprain and the science behind it. The safety team shared tips on domestic safety, proper usage of gas cylinders, electrical handling etc. The employees present also took a quiz after the session and distributed prizes.

Tata Steel volunteers conducted a session on cyber security at the Skill Development Centre, Midnapore, highlighting the various cases of hacking, bank frauds, cyber-crimes etc. The volunteers explained the various ways one can fall into trouble through social media websites, online banking etc. They also informed them of the ways to launch a complaint in case of such an incident.

The volunteers along with the students of NIT and their professors came together and spoke about how the Tata story is an inspiration to the entire country. The team had a pad yatra of Penderbera village under Rapcha panchayat along with PRI members and key communities till the evening. The learners are excited to add value to the overall village development, bringing in technology in all feasible front.
