Tata Engage programme
Tata Engage is a group-wide volunteering platform for Tata employees, their families and retired Tata colleagues. Since its inception in 2014, the programme has clocked over 1.7 million volunteering hours through event based and skill-based volunteering projects.

The time is now, to thank our volunteers! (TVW11)
There is no stopping them. Volunteering Week after Volunteering Week, Tata employees, their family members and our retired colleagues continue to volunteer to spur positive change. On 4th April, we concluded another epic edition of Tata Volunteering Week, the 11th edition. TVW11 marked the completion of 5 years since the start of Tata Volunteering Week 1 in March 2014. And over the last five years, the momentum has only got stronger. So the time is now, to thank our wonderful volunteers for their continued zeal for giving back to society. Here’s what we achieved during TVW11.
Now it’s your turn to create memories (TVW8)
Every year, thousands of volunteers from Tata companies and the extended Tata family, have joined hands to help make a difference in the communities in which we operate. Every unique activity has given opportunities to volunteers to make a difference in their own special ways. Here's a snapshot of their volunteering journey, through TVW8.
Making it count (TVW6)
The exciting part of Tata Volunteering Week is how employees, family members and retirees, world over reach out to others in tandem – making waves with their collective efforts and new ideas to help propagate awareness and great learning. Preserving our Heritage (TVW5)
Established in 1896, the Connemara Library (Chennai) houses some of the most respected collections in the country. For Tata Volunteering Week 5, Tata employees helped refurbish this library, and in the process learned so much more about rare regional books. Each one played their part to realise the goal of a Million volunteering hours by the Tata group.
Learning through Fun and Games (TVW5)
Tata group employees contribute their time and effort to shape young mind, for a better tomorrow, as part of Tata Volunteering Week 5 held in March 2016. From games on nurturing nature, to value education lessons and more, each volunteer played their part to realise the goal of a Million volunteering hours by the Tata group.
Creating Beautiful Memories (TVW5)
The Tata Volunteering Week 5, held in March 2016, gave many Tata employees the opportunity to serve the community in need. Each one played their part to realise the goal of a Million volunteering hours by the Tata group.
Trigger a Change Reaction (TVW4)
The fourth edition of TVW was completed on Oct 7, 2015. Employees actively volunteered for a wide variety of activities and initiatives, ranging from cleanliness and health, cooking classes, education, and more. Many meaningful steps to trigger a change reaction, many strides towards the target of a million volunteering hours!
Colours of Change (TVW3)
Watch Tata employees in action during Tata Volunteering Week, a volunteering format under the Tata Engage program- a platform for employees, their family members and retired Tata employees to come together and volunteer for causes close to their hearts.
Multiplying Happiness (TVW3)
Employees from Tata Housing, Tata Power and Tata Consulting Engineers participated in Tata Volunteering Week. Tata group employees actively took part in different community events spending time with students and elderly. The activities involved music, songs and games. A two day career counselling session was also organised for students by the group executive members of the Tata group. Overall, these activities were well received by all and left a positive feeling amongst the volunteers and the community members.
Volunteering for a Swachh Bharat (TVW3)
Tata group employees, in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, (A national cleanliness campaign) created awareness among the public about cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation.

What’s ProEngage all about?
A number of non-profits have the access and methodologies to carry out their noble deeds, but often fall short when it comes to professional expertise. ProEngage is a platform wherein volunteering projects of non-profit organisations give Tata employees, their family members and retired employees a chance to volunteer for a project that matches their skill set.

Youth STEM workshop at Tata Technologies
As part of Tata Technologies’ STEM youth literacy program, enthusiastic students from Detroit's Clark Preparatory Academy got a chance to learn more about automotive design and engineering, during their field visit to the company in North America. The initiative was a great way to get eager young minds interested in the subject through fun activities like drawing, clay modeling and interactions with senior leaders from the company.
