Tata Volunteering Week 11

'Let’s go!'

Tata Volunteering Week (TVW) is back with its eleventh edition! From March 3, 2019 which is also the 180th birth anniversary of our founder Jamsetji Tata, companies across the Tata group will be offering volunteering opportunities for employees, family members and retired Tata colleagues. This TVW edition has abundant volunteering opportunitiesorganised by Tata companies, and a message that will inspire you to join the volunteering group. Activities will range from spending time with children and bringing smiles to their faces to planting saplings to contribute to a better tomorrow, to creating awareness about road safety to conducting sessions on personal hygiene. If you don’t find anything of interest, you may use the Do-it-Yourself toolkit and plan an activity of your own. There is always something for everybody.

“Great, when did the Tata group start Tata Volunteering Week?”
Tata Volunteering Week, the first volunteering format of Tata Engage was launched on 3rd March 2014 to commemorate the 175th birth anniversary of our founder, Jamsetji Tata. Today the Tata group ranks among the top ten corporates in the world in terms of volunteering hours. In FY18, we clocked 1.1 million volunteering hours as a group.

“I’m intrigued, What’s new this edition?”
In a generation that’s is being governed by social media, likes and hearts are what tugs on our emotions. In times when we are busy and only have time to like and share things that apparently would help others, Tata Volunteering Week 11wants you to take an action and do something about the cause that moves you. It urges you to stand and say ‘Let’s go and make a difference!’So, are you in?

“Yes, count me in! But where do I start?”
If you’re ready to join in, contact your CSR / volunteering team, today!

You could also log into to view available opportunities in your city, and get in touch with the relevant contact person of the activity that interests you. You can participate in any Tata company’s activity, and in as many activities as you like.

You could use the DIY volunteering toolkit if you want to plan something on your own and inspire others.

So, go ahead, volunteer and make your every action count!
