a cleanliness drive. They also took an oath to continue the efforts to keep the

& alcohol consumption for the contract workers. The contract workers belong to villages

20 Team members of Ginger Hotel Chennai Vadapalani conducted a cleanliness drive.
They cleaned the neighbourhood and the surrounding area of the hotel. All team members
were enthusiastic during the drive. The neighbourhood thereafter looked clean and
beautiful.

Chocolate distribution programme

A chocolate distribution programme was organised in 94 schools from 42 village of
Okhamandal taluka on Founder’s Day. 34 employee Volunteers and their family members
participated. Volunteers excitedly participated by distributing chocolates in all
schools that are located in interior parts of Okhamandal taluka. Teachers and students
welcomed TCSRD and TCL employees and their family members with zeal. During chocolate
distribution it was found that kids celebrated the event as a festival. Volunteers
motivated students to concentrate on their studies and also told them about the
achievements and values of Shri Jamsetji Tata.

Career counselling session for youth

The employees conducted a career counselling session for students of a college.
They first gave them a tour of the hotel facilities. This was to show them what
working in a hotel would like as a career option.

The employees conducted a cleanliness drive at the I-Gate bus stop, Qualcomm Tower
road and a general walk way used by all commuters. The area looked clean and pristine
after the activity.

Blood donation drive

Tata Technologies wellness and admin team organized the second blood donation drive
at the SEZ IT3 office. 102 employees participated and donated 90 units of blood
in one day. Blood units will be donated for the thalassaemic patients across Pune
hospitals through the blood bank.
