The Power of One! Indian Hotels  |  Mumbai

When we look around, we often see a dismal state of affairs in terms of what we give back to our planet - paper plastic and refuse. Our city is often at the receiving end through our insensitive methods of disposal. If each one of us just paused and questioned ourselves…how can we leave a better planet for the next generations? How can small individual acts keep our world healthy? How can we be the change? The team at Taj Wellington Mews did just that. Leveraging the Power of One – each individual came forth responsibly and collectively participated in The Power of One. The pavement outside the tenement area near Badhwar Park was the mission of this cleanliness drive. Children, ladies and shopkeepers from the locality looked on with curiosity as the associates cleaned up the litter off the pavement, swept away the dirt and garbage, packed into bags and disposed of responsibly. In addition, the associates created awareness with the locals in the area about the importance of health and clean surroundings, measures for disposal of waste and precautionary steps with the onset of summer diseases.
