VATS (ERC) celebrated a family day get-together at the Corianthan Club in Pune.
The celebration had different sections like song & dance stage, party area, kids
play & fun area, etc. The Funport was an area for kids to enjoy games & was a real
fun place for kids & their parents (employees of TML VATS). An employee’s daughters
took this opportunity to organize a game stall (win through the loop) with the simple
rule that each participant can pay INR 10 or more, if he/she wins and then gets
2 knowledge chits and if they don’t, they still get 1 knowledge chit. Although no
money was to be won by the participants, the knowledge chits contained encyclopedic
information from various fields & compelled many kids to play again & again. All
participants were informed that the money earned from the stall would go to an orphanage.
Many colleagues offered more money for the cause. A total of INR 2000 was collected
from the game stall & the same was donated to an orphanage - TARA SOFOSH in Pimple
Gurav, Pune for differently abled children.
