  Awareness on environment Indian Hotels  |  Cape Town
The associates organised a fun walk to raise money for a Food Bank to feed the underprivileged in the community. This was a 10 km walk in Cape Town city. Few associates also painted a local park to encourage the children to come back into a clean environment. They painted the equipment and also repaired the pieces that were damaged.
  Training for the farmers Amalgamated Plantations  |  Assam
An awareness meeting cum practical demo was conducted under Ghor Bari Program wherein topics like pest and disease management in tea, importance of using bio-fertilizers, how to make compost and vermi-compost and livelihood enhancement by cultivating black pepper were covered. A demo on runner planting of pepper, sleeve pepper saplings planting, citronella cuttings planting, etc was conducted.
  Medical check-up camp Amalgamated Plantations  |  Assam
Team Dam Dim comprising of the Senior Manager, Senior Medical Officer, Welfare Officers, one Sister and Health Assistant visited a destitute Centre at Salbari in Chalsa area which had an Old Age Home and an Orphanage. A medical check-up of all the inmates was carried out by the Estate SMO and free medicines/tonics were distributed to those who required medication. Free advice was also given for their well-being and healthy life. The team spent three hours talking to the inmates.

The Management, Staff and Workers of Nahorkutia Tea Estate spent four hours voluntarily and helped in conducting a general health check-up camp. This was conducted at the Estate Creche House where more than 155 estate staff & workers underwent health check-up.

Group of 27 hotel associates actively engaged in planting fruit trees around the hotel. Team has also done necessary horticulture treatment for existing organic kitchen garden.
  Cleanliness drive Ginger Hotels  |  Bhubaneshwar
Around 40 volunteers from Ginger Bhubaneshwar and 02 young family members joined hands to clean up the prominent Jayadev Vihar Road in Bhubaneshwar. The volunteers cleaned up the Foot Path and Cycling track area and removed several garbage bags full of plastic, paper, cigarette packets, plastic cups, food containers, broken bottles etc. The Maintenance Team volunteers removed all the signage boards and got those boards repainted. They also painted the BMC trees and pathway barriers to beautify the road.
  Career counselling for children Ginger Hotels  |  Goa
14 Volunteers from Ginger Hotel, Goa visited Govt High School at Merces, Tiswadi and conducted a counseling session with the students. The students were from various social economic background and were encouraged to continue education.
  Cleanliness drive Ginger Hotels  |  Guwahati
The Staff and Partners of Ginger Hotel Guwahati conducted a cleanliness drive on the six mile VIP road, Upper Hengrabari walking pavements which had plenty of plastic, bottles, cigarette packets and other undesirable things thrown on the pavements. The team has also cleaned the road close to All Assam Tennis Associations.
  A day out for the children Infiniti Retail  |  Ghaziabad
The Croma team from North took the children from the shelter and treated them to pizzas at Pizza Hut. The objective was to give the kids a different experience. Prerna Bal Ashram is an orphanage which houses children whose parents are under trial and those children who have been abandoned.
  Hygiene awareness camp Indian Hotels  |  Hyderabad
Taj Group of Hotels of Hyderabad organized Hand Hygiene awareness camp for Hyderabad Council of Human Welfare (HCHW) for street children. The volunteers briefed them about the importance Hand Hygiene. After the informative session the students were shown educative yet witty videos on the process of washing one’s hand every day. Taj Hotels also donated basic hygiene equipment such as dustbins, hand wash liquid, harpic, cleaning brush and LED lights.

Volunteers from JUSCO organized a medical camp for the residents and children of Chirugora which included a general check-up and distribution of supplements and medicines. This camp also included an awareness campaign where our team enlightened the village members about health, hygiene and sanitation.
  Sports activity for children JUSCO  |  Jamshedpur
The volunteers of JUSCO organized a sports activity for the students of SS High School. The sports activity included short-put competition, weight lifting and relays. Students enjoyed themselves and the activity concluded with the prize distribution ceremony. The team also organized a medical camp for the girl students of the school which included general check-up and also counseling them about heath, hygiene and sanitation.
  Immunization awareness programme JUSCO  |  Jamshedpur
Volunteers from JUSCO conducted an awareness programme on Immunization at Vikas Bharti Catholic Association, Sundarnagar for the self-help groups, NGOs and teachers to educate them regarding vaccinations, prevention of diseases, mother and child care, and general health and hygiene awareness. This programme was also followed by an interactive team building session which was enjoyed by all.

Volunteers from JUSCO joined hands to organize a workshop on Competency Building at SN High School which included topics such as career counseling, stress management, interactive sessions which highly motivated the students. This workshop was also followed by distribution of pens, biscuit packets and goodies for the children.
  Awareness on energy conservation Rallis India  |  Lote
Rallis Volunteers along with the Science Intervention Consultant conducted an awareness session on Energy Conservation, especially on Solar Energy and Solar Lighting System at Z P School, Matwadi, Songaon for the 6th to 8th standard students. In this school Rallis India had constructed a Compound Wall for the safety of the school. The inaugural function of the compound wall was also organized on the same day.
  Drawing activity for children Rallis India  |  Mumbai
Rallis India Volunteers organized a visit to the Bethany School at Kolkhe village near Panvel. A total of 16 volunteers participated in the activity with 35 tribal students. Volunteers distributed readymade drawing sheets for painting. In that drawing sheets various puzzles were incorporated and students were expected to solve the puzzles first and then paint the picture. Volunteers helped them to solve the puzzles & guided them to paint the pictures.

Volunteers from JUSCO organized a cleaning campaign at Namda Basti, Burma mines which started off with a talk where the residents were informed about general health and hygiene; preventive measures to be taken to curb diseases like malaria, dengue, and tuberculosis etc. Thereafter, they started with the cleaning mission along with the residents there to make it a cleaner place.

The TCS associates formed a group of 55 members and went to the site with an objective to restore the city beach life back to its charisma after a weeklong celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival. They also encouraged and motivated other groups present there to celebrate the festival with eco-friendly idols which will not only make the festival more vivacious but also helps in preserving our ecological imbalance.

11 Tata BSS volunteers visited Mother’s welfare public charitable trust & Solomon homes in Chennai. They conducted fun activities for the children, had a cake cutting ceremony, sponsored & served their lunch. The kids were elated to have the volunteers there.
  Visit to a home Tata Metaliks  |  Kharagpur
The team led by the Managing Director visited the Brother’s Home in Kharagpur being run by Missionaries of Charity. This is the home for 100 inmates who are mostly aged and destitute. The team distributed six wheelchairs to the inmates to facilitate their movement. The team also interacted with the inmates of the home.
  Medical check-up Tata Metaliks  |  Kolkata
The Medical team of Tata Metaliks along with employees organized eye check-up camp for Rainbow Children’s of Loreto (Girls) School, Sealdha. Eye check-up of total 39 students was done by the team of Doctors from West Bank Hospital, Andul Road, Howrah. Eye drops & medicines were distributed.
  Walkathon Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
Cultural clubs of Tata Power DDL, Umang & Sparsh organized walkathons on various themes of Safety, Climate Change, Electricity & Energy Conservation to sensitize common masses at Lok Vihar & Inderpuri. In total 275 volunteers took part in these 3 walkathons where they carried banners/placards carrying messages along with slogans based on the themes through public address system.
  Health awareness sessions Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
Tata Power DDL organized theme based health awareness session at its 7 vocational training cum tutorial center at different locations of North & North West of Delhi. The mobile dispensary team sensitized beneficiaries about Chickengunia, Hazards of tobacco, Dental hygiene, Nutrition & health, Hygiene etc. More than 300 beneficiaries were sensitized through these awareness sessions by 28 volunteers.
  A retreat for senior citizens Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
Tata Power DDL organized Samman, an event meant to acknowledge & appreciate senior citizens and retirees from Inderpuri district. Health talk by doctors, yoga session, LED distribution and tree plantation was organized during the event. A total of 70 volunteers took part in the program. The program was very well appreciated by the participant elderlies.
  Drug de-addiction camp Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
Tata Power DDL, in association with Prajapita Brahm Kumari, organized 3 drug de-addiction camps at different locations of North & North West of Delhi where 489 individuals suffering from various addictions were given counseling and free homeopathic medicine. 26 volunteers contributed in mobilizing the communities, assisted in counseling & medicine distribution during the camp.
  Playing games with the children Tata Steel Processing and Distribution  |  Faridabad
A team of volunteers from TSPDL visited St. John School on 19th of September, 2016. The program began with organising several indoor & outdoor games for the students. All the students participated in the games with full enthusiasm. After the games, a quiz competition was conducted for the students in which questions were asked from various fields like science, history, geography, current affairs etc. A knowledge sharing session was also organised by the volunteers where in the volunteers shared the knowledge related to precaution & prevention required to be taken from Malaria, Chicken Guinea and Dengue.
  Awareness on safe drinking water Tata Projects  |  Secunderabad
TPL organised an awareness on safe drinking water, health and clean sanitation in the rural community. This was a half day program and in a rural village far from Hyderabad. The COO also participated in the program. The team visited Gundyal village, Mahaboobnagar Dist. and conducted door to door survey and took feedback from the villagers by interacting with the community with the help of flip charts and leaflets.
  Interaction with women Tata Steel  |  Tarapur
The CSR Council in association with MSRLM- Palghar (Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission) team had interaction with tribal female groups of underprivileged villages- Khaniwade & Gargaon. They shared the Govt. programmes available for the underprivileged group including the self-help group development. After meetings and discussions, the team observed some tribal women are coming forward and get into this self-help group formation and start the activities of income generation. The CSR team and MSRLM- Palghar, Umed officer site visited at various padas of Khaniwade and Gargaon. Discussions were also held with members of four SHGs and their Village Level Federations. Their books of accounts, meetings registers and saving & various other records were observed Umed and CSR team.
  Industrial knowledge sharing session Tata Steel  |  Tarapur
Volunteers from Tata steel Ltd. Tarapur & CSR team conducted an "Industrial Knowledge Sharing Session” at local ITI Vangaon on Subjects (ITI Trade) of Wireman, Electrician and Electronics Mechanical. They also interacted with the students.
  STEM Promotion Tata Technologies   |  Pune
STEM program aims to instill curiosity and interest in the school children towards science and engineering subjects and enhance their experiential learning. The Engineers visited local schools at Maval Taluka Pune and held sessions related to STEM subjects. They also interacted with students from 8th 9th & 10th class and solved their queries related to Science Technology Engineering and Math.
  Food distribution drive Tata Technologies  |  Pune
Tata Technologies volunteers distributed homemade food to 320 slum at Chinchwad Slum and distributed homemade food by MasterChef volunteers. Volunteers also taught slum children how to share food along with before and after food hygiene awareness and importance of healthy food. The objective of the program is to give joy of healthy food to hungry and needy children with health and hygiene awareness at slum families.

The CSR team lead by senior leaders took 35 children from United Forum for Health & Environment (UFHE- an NGO focused on improving the lives of under privileged children) out for a day trip to the Tata Zoological Park. The children were amused and thrilled to see the diversified wildlife. They all really enjoyed the tour whilst also learning about the wide array of animal habitat and their behavior.
