As a part of Tata Volunteering week 5, a team of 8 members participated in the activity
of cleaning the surrounding area adjacent to the hotel, under the focus area “hygiene
& cleanliness”. During the activity, the team members actively participated in cleaning
the pavement towards I gate bus stop and the nearby public areas those are used
by several employees of various companies in the vicinity.

As the initiative says ‘Sab Padhe Sab Badhe’, it was really a pleasure for the volunteers
to visit a nearby slum for teaching the children of mix age group. They were took
the children to have evening snacks at Mc Donald’s where they were served a burger
with soft drink. It was the first time the children had a burger. Parents accompanying
them were very humble & even were showering their blessings upon the volunteers.
Overall it was a fun outing with slum children.

Skill certification

The sixth batch students of the Tata Skill Development Programme, Jaipur received
their certificates at a special ceremony at Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur. The Tata Skill
Development Programme, conducted by the Skill Certification Centre, Jaipur had commenced
in November 2015. This particular batch had a unique combination of students from
Uttarakhand as well as from Kashmir. The programme highlighted the philosophy and
values of Jamsetji Tata, providing training, employment and livelihoods to people
affected in the great catastrophe that took place in Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir.

So far the Skill Certification Centre, Jaipur, has made a very positive impact
on more than 72 families empowering them for a better life and opportunities through
its training and placement initiatives.

Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur celebrated the Women’s Day on 8th March 2016 in a unique
way. 'Woman is a word that conjures up a lot of images in our minds and brings out
varied emotions as selfless love, nurturing and caring attitude. Celebrating Women's
Day is an opportunity to appreciate the remarkable contribution of women to our
society.

On 8th March for all our lady colleagues, which includes contract employees and
Industrial Trainees, chef prepared a special a lunch menu. A table was laid at “The
Marble Arch” restaurant and the lunch was served. The entire group of lady associates
enjoyed every bit of this memorable event. The celebration began by welcoming all
the ladies with roses. All the male members in the room said thank you to all our
lady colleagues for their support, and also they spoke how a men’s life get influenced
by a women.

To make this celebration more meaningful, three videos were shared on women empowerment,
which was well appreciated by all our lady colleagues. After that snacks and tit
bits were served with tea and coffee.

For all the lady guests in the palace a special flower arrangement and a note with
a wish of Happy Women’s day was placed in their rooms. All the guest were delighted.

Donation for Bal Shobha Grah

Umaid Bhawan Palace also takes step in donation. We collect lost & found item for
particular month with the help of team security and other departments and donate
those lost & found item to Bolashobha grah children. At Balshobha grah approximately
60 kids are living. It is an initiative towards our community, a chance to help
others.

Field visit for the youth

It was a special day wherein the youth from Literacy India had visited a 5 star
hotel. To make their day a memorable one we arranged for a brief introduction of
the hotel by volunteers from each departments. They were also briefed about the
grooming standards and tips to face interviews confidently. After the sessions they
were taken to the cafeteria for lunch. Post lunch they were taken for the property
tour of the hotel to give them a feel of the 5 star luxury hotel.

On 10th March, 2016, a group of Eight Volunteers from Rallis India Lote Unit conducted
an awareness session on Road Safety for the 8th and 11th standard students of Nutan
Vidyalaya, Lote. Road accidents are happening on daily basis in all areas and we
should take maximum care to reduce the number of accidents by way of arranging awareness
programmes to different levels of people in the society. At the end of the programme
few students expressed their willingness to work towards reducing road accidents.
The programme was well accepted by all the participants and our volunteers too.

centres Noida sec-60 & Noida sec-57 on 10th Mar-16. The volunteer team planted 8
trees within the company premises. Impressed by the TVW5 our customer joined in
the activity.

age 9 till 18 years through monthly fixed deposit in their family account. They

New desks and benches were distributed at Primary School, Bara Govindpur village
and Government Primary School at Dhua Colony of Ghorabandha village by Head- Department
of Medicine and Head-HR & PS respectively. Lively interactions took place between
the students, Principal, Teachers, members of the School Managing Committee, parents
and distinguished villagers during the programme. All present were happy to have
the employee volunteer present at the school and thanked Tata Motors for providing
the infrastructural support.

On 9th March 2016, the MD and ED of Tata Sponge Iron Limited, in their address referred
the age-old practice of social responsibilities by the Group Companies, which is
being implemented in an organized and much structured manner. Same time, the employees
undertook volunteering activities in & around the Company to address various socio-economic
issues as a gesture of responsible corporate citizen. They appealed the present
officers and associates to not limit the volunteering endeavor only to TVW process
or during other events, rather we all need to contribute our part of responsibility
towards the societal upliftment to bridge the gap of inequality. A total of 56 Officers
and 10 villagers participated in this volunteering Process.

Ltd., Jamshedpur organized a Blood Donation camp at TML Blood Donation Center. Senior
Executives and employees very enthusiastically took part in contributing for the
noble cause. Blood donation is the process of giving blood so that it can be used
for blood transfusion in the future for needy. It is the best type of donation one
can make for the benefit of the society which costs nothing but its value is incomparable.
We have collected total 54 units of blood.

Tata Technologies Administration organised a General Safety Awareness Drive at Hinjawadi
Village School. The purpose of this initiative was to create an awareness regarding

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. puts safety at utmost priority in its business
operation. There is a strong culture of celebrating 45th National Safety Week from
March 4th to 10th, 2016. Safety Walkathons were organized by at different locations
of TPDDL. Various Cultural Clubs of TPDDL Udaan, Abhuday, Umang, Harmony, Sparsh
and Prathit. More than 963 employees marched in 5 walkathons cheering on the streets
and sensitizing common masses. Walking through the stretch volunteers carried banners
& placards with messages to practice safety with regard to operations of electrical
appliances in daily routine life, energy conservations encompassing supply usage
on need-based, usage of standard make appliances, usage of LEDs in place of CFL
and also involving children participation in drawing competition, covering Energy
conservation and safety. It was heartwarming to witness such a massive participation
trying to bring in a positive and needed change needed to keep ourselves, our families
and society as a whole safe & secure.

associate women employees working on various CSR projects. More than 100 women associates

in the air and there was a sense of accomplishment of emerging as a winner in their

International Women’s Day on 8th March was celebrated across all locations in TSPDL.
The day started with MD addressing all officers through ‘MD Online’ & encouraging
everyone to take the pledge to help women and girls achieve their ambitions ; challenge
conscious and unconscious bias; call for gender-balanced leadership ; value women
and men's contributions equally ; create inclusive, flexible cultures. Every Unit
of TSPDL organized small celebrations for the women of the respective Unit, viz.
in taking the women out for lunch, cake-cutting etc.
