The volunteers of the Indian Hotels Company Ltd, Goa came together and distributed bags of compost to the locals to enhance their garden produce. The compost was organically prepared at the Taj Holiday Village Resort’s plant. Over 50 kgs of compost is generated each day, the volunteers made it available in abundance for the communities around. |

To mark the ‘National Plant a Flower Day’, Indian Hotels Company Ltd volunteers from Goa donated saplings of flowering plants to neighbouring institutes like Arc of Hope, Bosio Hospital and St. Lawrence Church. With the aim to enhance the flora of the surrounding areas, the volunteers also planted these beautiful saplings within the resort premises. |

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Jamsetji Tata and to mark the launch of Tata Volunteering Week, the volunteers of Rallis India, Ankleshwar, organised a drawing competition for 1st and 2nd grade students of a primary school in Gadkol. The activity aimed to spark curiosity among children. Over 50 students participated in the competition who later received a drawing kit including drawing sheets, crayons and other stationery items. |

Essay Writing Competition for Senior Students

Volunteers from Rallis India Ltd, Dahej organized an essay writing competition on the topic of ‘Pros and Cons of Online Education’. Students from standard 9 of a local school participated in the competition and expressed their views about the boon and bane of the newly adapted education system. The activity helped the students express and put across their thoughts in a structured manner. |

English Literacy Program for Junior College Students

11th grade students from the Pioneer Secondary & Higher Secondary School, Jitali, participated in a English literacy program organised by the volunteers of Rallis India. The session focused on improving English communication and grammar. One of the volunteers from the group will continue to handhold these students for a month and guide them to learn and improve their grammar skills. |

The activity was conducted to emphasize the importance of physical activities in the growing ages. A group of volunteers from TCE, along with partner NGO Guided Fortune Samiti (empanelled with Noida Public Health) went out on the streets of Noida to feed stray dogs and cows. They installed water bowls for these animals to protect them from the unbearable heat and organised a neutering camp for the animals. |

The volunteers of TCE conducted an awareness session on ‘Water Conservation & Cleanliness’ with the residents of the Brahmanpara, Maheshpur village. The volunteers spoke about the different ways to preserve and conserve water bodies, such as rainwater harvesting. They also spread awareness about using the available water judiciously. To promote the cause, volunteers and participants played a quiz, the winners of which were rewarded later. |

Cultural Program and Library Inauguration

TCE volunteers organised a cultural program for the students of a Primary School of the Jinsor village. The fair included art competitions, dance programs, singing and other fun activities along with a mentoring session on the importance of education. The day concluded with a library inauguration to encourage and develop a reading habit amongst these young ones. |
