Tata Volunteering Week 16 Volume No. 13           Awareness on uses of Toilets and bathrooms Tata Steel Long Products      Awareness on uses of Toilets and bathrooms to the individual households of Balita village was held by our 6 volunteers for 2 hours an d they distributed leaflet in street to show for encouraging people to uses of TBRs as now toilet use is essential to the survival and development of all children in India and around the world, as exposure to human waste causes diseases such as diarrhea.       Session on Health Awareness Tata Steel Long Products      Online health awareness session organized by volunteers regarding COVID to the villagers for an hour about prevention of disease, injury and illness and heling them to understand health education, anticipatory guidance, and parenting skill development which support & builds confidence will and is reassuring for all.       Road Safety Tata Steel Long Products      All should follow the traffic rules set by govt. obeying this we can save our health and life.at the same was explained and we all take oath at Main road of Beliepada , Joda by our proud volunteers in which the pledge asks people to commit to six key points to protect themselves and others, by driving safely, encouraging others to drive safely, and by driving less or not at all: slow, sober, sharp, silent, secure, sustainable.       Teacher Training Tata Steel Long Products      A 3-day programme for Training to develop effective class management skills to PLC/PMC Teachers at - L& D Center was held for 3 hours by our 10 volunteers as teacher education programs prepare candidates to interact with students in the classroom to promote their holistic development.        Mask Up India Tata Steel Long Products      Our volunteers took an initiative to have a campaign named Mask Up India by reaching maximum people at local markets and ensuring each and every person to wear mask and take care of themselves as well as all of them out in the market. Employees and a friendly football match was organized between the employees of Tata Metaliks and the trainees of Under 12 football team. At Gumariapal Ground in Gumariapal village, Kalaikunda Panchayat. The trainees are trained by TML under their Football coaching project. A total of 60 boys and girls participated in the match. It was an exciting match where all the teams were very enthusiastic about their participation. Senior management team flagged of the event, along with the panchayat pradhan and encouraged the teams. It was a fun afternoon where the employees and community had a good time.        Enrichment Program Rallis India (Seeds division)      Rallis volunteers organized an Enrichment program and Stationery distribution to the Govt High School students, Volunteers narrated an inspiring story to the students and elicited values they understood from the story, also took commitment from students on how they are going to use these values in their life.      Drawing and Craft competition Tata Consulting Engineers      The Team of MVML Site along with their family members have organized a drawing and craft competition at Gurukulam, Chinchwad, Pune. And then after the team have explained the students the importance of curricular activities along with studies and also the team have shared the useful information on protection against covid-19 and what all measures we should take for it     Tree Plantation Tata Investment Corporation Ltd      The heavy rains few months back caused a lot of trees to get uprooted, employees from Tata Investment Corporation Limited planted the trees back in Colaba to restore the greenery.     English Grammar session Rallis India      On 25th September, 2021 Rallis Lote Unit Volunteers along with Z P School Teacher conducted an Online English Grammar session for the students of Z P School, Lotemal. We have also covered an exercise of basic word formation, its meaning in Marathi, right pronunciation of words with its meaning. A total of 36 students were present in the online session. All the students have interacted very nicely with their teacher and our volunteers.       Best Kitchen Garden Competition Rallis India Limited      We volunteers organized  a Best Kitchen Garden Competition program for seven primary school students. We organized one virtual session for them one month ago & informed all students about the kitchen gardening concept. After one month we organized this activity. students actively participated in this program.      Bird Nest Making Contest Rallis India Limited      Under TVW-16 we volunteers of Rallis India Limited, SEZ II, Dahej volunteers organized the Birds Nest Making Contest at Tribal ashram school, Atali. This is a residential school specially for tribal students. This activity encourages all students to show their community skills. 21 students actively participated in the competition.     Mask Distribution Program Rallis India Limited      We volunteers of Rallis India limited arranged mask distribution program at Marine police station Dahej.     Appreciation of Corona warriors Rallis India Limited      From the last 1.6 years GIDC police of Dahej doing excellent work in covid situation that's why on the occasion of TVW-16 we volunteers organized a corona warriors appreciation program. 50+ police covered this program. We gave some flowers & covid precautions to all.       Food Distribution program Rallis India Limited      On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti we volunteers with our family members of Rallis India arranged a food distribution program for orphan children`s at Children`s home for boys Bharuch. Also we distributed masks, soaps & other stationary material to all students.        Stray Dogs Feeding Program Rallis India Limited      As part of TVW-16 we volunteers of Rallis India limited organized a stray dogs feeding program at GIDC Ankleshwar. We serve food for 350+ dogs under this program.     Importance of Healthy Food Rallis India Limited      Rallis Lote unit Volunteers arranged a session on "Importance of Healthy Food" with the help of a Dietitian Ms. Manali Narkar for the students of Z P School, Lotemal, Lote on 27th September, 2021. The Dietitian explained the importance of Healthy Food and Diet with examples. She has answered all the questions asked by the students on diet. The session was fully enjoyed by the Volunteers and the participants.     Industrial Hygiene Rallis India Limited      Rallis Lote Team has arranged an awareness session on "Industrial Hygiene" for the Associates on 28th September, 2021. We talk about our Engineering controls, housekeeping, keeps the workplace environment clean, pollution free and hygienic which will eliminate or minimize the exposure of environmental on human or public health. Industrial hygiene and safety helps upkeep workers motivation, ensuring better health - physically and mentally. We have covered a total of 45 contractual workers in the session.      Cleanliness Drive Rallis India Limited      We, 14 numbers volunteers including contract workers from Rallis India, Lote Unit have taken an initiative of 'Cleaning - Keeping the surroundings clean" at MIDC Lote Industrial Belt on 29th September, 2021. We have cleaned roadsides of Lote Industrial belt with our own volunteers. We have collected three bags of wastes from the road side and kept the area neat and clean. Our effort was well appreciated by Industries Association and Local public. All the participants were really enjoyed the cleaning activity in group and were very happy to participate in the Tata Volunteering Week -16.       Skill Development / Knowledge Sharing Voltas     The Volunteer of Voltas Limited , Pantnagar organised an awareness session onFire and safety at Voltas Kaushal Vikas Kendra  for students . Explained the main importance points on Electrical safety , proper usage of PPE , Road Safety and Fire Safety.     Domestic & Fire Safety Awareness program for Community Girls & Ladies The Tinplate Company Of India Ltd   A session on Domestic and Fire safety was organized by the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Department of TCIL for the Community girls and ladies. Mr. Savio Rebello, Head SHE Department along with other employees of TCIL conducted the session on how to remain safe and secure, at home and even at workplace. The Program was attended by 30 girls and ladies along with the staff of C.D centers. This program was appreciated by all and the girls and ladies became aware about the precautions which need to be taken in case of emergency. Overall it was a learning session.     Distribution of study materials at Mundatola Villa The Tinplate Company Of India Ltd      A team of volunteers from TCIL visited Mundatola village to meet and interact with the children who are presently facing issues with their studies due to the Pandemic. The children from the village were very happy to meet with the volunteers and share their experience and problems in attending the classes especially through online. Volunteers from TCIL encouraged the children by telling them the importance of both studies and games in life and gave them tips on how to attend the classes smoothly and effectively. The program concluded with the distribution of study materials to the children. Overall it was a great experience for all.      Interaction with the inmates Tata Metaliks      Employees visited Brothers Home, Missionaries of Charity at Kaushalya, Kharagpur on 6th October, 2021. Employees had a good time interacting with the inmates, sang songs and listened to them. Employees also donates sanitary items and fruits for the inmates. It was an enriching experience for employees who were visiting the place for the first time.     Painting schools Amalgamated plantations      The Estate conducted the activity at the Kheroni Tiokia M. E school where building upkeep and painting Doors and Windows of the school was done on 2nd October, 2021       Personal hygeine awareness activity Tata Coffee      On behalf of TVW16, Team of Tata Coffee, ICD Toopran have organised cleanliness drive at Zilla parishath school Ghanpur on 22nd Sep'21. All the school teachers enjoyed the drive and advised students to strictly need to maintain personal hygiene & environment clenlinees at this pandemic situation by sharing small tips.     COVID19 precautionary Tata Coffee      Team of Tata Coffee, ICD Toopran have organised "COVID19 precautionary" measures session at ZPH school Islampur on 20th Sep'21. All the volunteers actively participated and shared the precautions and teachers also expressed the precautions & Don't's to the students as they are attending physical classes after long time to the schools effective from 7th Sep21. Students actively participated in the sessions and expressed their doubts     Career Counselling Session Tata Coffee      On behalf of TVW16, Team of Tata Coffee, ICD Toopran have organised a wonderful activity on career counselling to the students of ZPH school , Brahmanpally. In this program village surpanch and municipal officials took part and advised students that education is a lighting lamp for the successful career.In this event total 24 volunteers have taken active participation.       Environment Protection and Plastic Elimination Session Tata Coffee      On behalf of TVW16, Team of Tata Coffee, ICD Toopran have organised session on "environment protection and plastic elimination" at ZPH school, venkataipally on 17th Sep'21. Some of the students volutarily came up and shared their personal interventions on environment protection and care. In this program some of the teachers participated and given lecture of preservation of water for future generations by small techniques.     A day long program to engage with 50 orphan children Tata Consumer Products      The employees of Tetley ACI Bangladesh Ltd (JV of Tata Consumer Products), arranged a day long program to engage with 50 orphan children of "Modinatul Ulum Atimkhana" (Orphanage) on 25th Sept'21. Our primary objective was to give them love and care which every child craves for. So we organized a visit to "Bongobondhu Safari Park", which is the largest wildlife Animal park in Bangladesh. Thereafter, we escorted them to "Nuhas Palli", which is a museum of renowned Bangladeshi author (late Humayun Ahmed). In addition, we organized games, picnic and gifts for the children to bring smiles to their little innocent faces. On our part we tried to make them feel a part of us and our family        World Heart Day Trent Hypermarket      The employees of Star Bazaar, Gujarat organized an awareness drive on occasion of  World Heart Day. A 3 step note on ways to keep the heart healthy was attached to the bill copy of all customers. The employees also put up posters and flyers in the store to spread awareness among the customers.       Awareness Drive Trent Hypermarket      The employees of Star Bazaar, Mumbai organized an awareness drive to highlight ways to reduce vehicular traffic and its related pollution. This drive was organized between Majiwadi to Mankoli Highway.          Session on importance of honesty Trent Hypermarket      The employees of Star Bazaar, Mumbai organized a session to teach children the importance of honesty. This session was organized in collaboration with Udaan Foundation.       Session on problem solving Trent Hypermarket      The employees of Star Bazaar, Mumbai organized a session on problem solving techniques for a group of student in the age group of 16-18 years. This session was organized in collaboration with Udaan Foundation with the objective to instill the importance of critical thinking and arriving at solutions. A total of 57 students benefitted for this session.     Say No to Plastic Trent Hypermarket      The employees of Star Bazaar, Mumbai have organized a drive to collect waste papers and discarded newspapers; they will make paper bags from the waste paper and distribute it among the local fruit and vegetable vendors.  This initiative is organized with a double intent; to raise awareness regarding the harmful pollution created by plastic bags and to promote the use of paper bags.       Tree Plantation Tata Metaliks      Employees participated in tree plantation in Khalkhona village planting and distributing 700 saplings of amla, guava, mango, jackfruit. They also interacted with the villagers regarding the placement of the sapling and maintenance of the plant, to promote a clean and green environment and also proving nutrition to them. 11 employees participated from 11:00 am- 12:30pm.     Question Bank Creation Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited      Volunteers at Tata Realty came together to design question banks around the preferred topic to assess the level of understanding and interest in kids with special needs. Teaching kids that they can make a difference will help to raise a generation of adults who are more aware and better educated       Plantation Activity at nearby Govt School Titan Company Limited- Watches Unit Roorkee          Interactive Session with Govt School students Titan Company Limited      Vedic math's session and an interactive activity for students in order to encourage them to improve their communication skills      Covid-19 Pandemic and Precautions Rallis India      Rallis Lote Team has arranged an awareness session on "Covid-19 Pandemic and Precautions" for the Truck Drivers on 1st October, 21. We have explained about Covid-19 Positive cases and the guidelines of government for Covid-19. Also briefed on the precaution to be taken like wearing face mask, cleaning hands with soap solution or soap, drinking hot water, keeping personal hygiene, social distancing, taking nutritional food etc. We have covered a total of 12 numbers drivers and cleaners in 2 days time.     Covid 19 Awareness Amalgamated plantations      The TATA VOLUNTEER Members had conducted an awareness programmed based on Covid 19 awareness at Model English School at Debrapara. Where 6 School staff and 57 school students were participate in the camp. Several suggestions were given by the volunteers to the students how to protect from Covid 19. They were suggested to wear mask properly wash hand repeatedly with hand soap and follow and social distance, so that they could avoid getting infected with corona. Team spent quality time with all the children which left unforgettable memories for all. The school management was very happy with the activities held in the school. It was a very satisfying experience interacting with all students along with the school management.       Cleanliness drive Amalgamated Plantations      The TVW16 has been observed today 7th October,2021 at "Rupahi Aaideo Park", Dillighat by the volunteers of Namroop T.E where Management Staff and family, Staff, Sub-Staff, Workers, Medical Team, ACMS & ACKS members all participated and children from nearby area of the Park also took part in the event with parents.   The following activities were carried out today with the theme- "LET US CREATE A BETTER TOMORROW BY NURTURING THE YOUNG MINDS - A HAPPY CHILD IS A  HEALTHY CHILD". 1. Cleaning of Park area, cutting jungles, cleaning of walls and chequered tiled foot path, other buildings etc by the volunteers. 2. Painting of Park security wall, gate, signboard, watchman shed, foot path etc. 3. Awareness for children health, games amongst the children followed by distribution of fruit baskets. 4. Refreshments to all participants.     Beach Cleaning Indian Hotels      Come the season time and the beach activity goes up in the neighboring public Vainguinim Beach next to Taj Resort and Convention Centre Goa and Cidade de Goa - IHCL SeleQtions. This area is mainly visited by the fishermen who use the beach as their resting place. A total of 27 volunteers gathered in the wee hours of 04th Oct 2021 to clean up the area and make it free of plastic bottles, fishing nets, and thermocol pieces. A total of about 17 garbage bags full were gathered in just about in an hour of the cleanup drive.     Saplings Plantation Indian Hotels      A team of about 20 volunteers from Taj Resort and Convention Centre Goa came together for a saplings plantation drive at the periphery of the hotel as part of the TVW season. Due to the recent cyclonic winds and public movements, the shrubs in the area were uprooted and needed attention. The work was taken up as beautification of the area next to the public beach near the hotel which sees a public footfalls mostly during this part of the year.     Coconut Saplings Plantation Drive Indian Hotels      A team of about 14 volunteers from Cidade de Goa - IHCL SeleQtions came together for plantation of coconut saplings along the public pathway - which is the access to the public beach located next to the hotel. The pathway sports coconut trees as its boundaries, most of which trees were brought down by the monsoon winds and cyclonic weather. As part of re-beautifying the same, the dried coconuts from the hotel's many coconut trees were propagated over time and replanted in these areas.       Awareness Session "Maintaining Personal Hygiene and Sanitization"   for Taxi drivers Indian Hotels      Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi organized An awareness session on "Maintaining Personal Hygiene and Sanitization" was organized on 07 Oct 2021 at the hotel premises for the taxi drivers who operate from a taxi stand in closer proximity of the hotel.Display of an informative short video on the process and nuances of Hand Sanitization. The purpose of conducting the event was to lay emphasis on maintaining the highest standards of personal hygiene to ensure the safety of taxi drivers (who operate from Taxi stand closer to the hotel premises) and staff/guests who avail the transportation services.     Fun & learn mathematics with Special Children Rallis India      Rallis Volunteers organized one fun and learn activity for the special children of Rotary Sanskardham academy Goregaon. Volunteers explained basic concepts of maths like tables, multiplications and geometrical shapes through practical and easy methods for their better understanding. Students were very enthusiastic to respond quickly.       Competition on Traditional wear & makeup with hairstyle Rallis India      Rallis volunteers have organized competitions for Rallis supported beauticians for livelihood. Beauticians were expected to prepare a lady with make up, hairstyle and traditional wear. 45 women from Akola & Murbad participated in the event. Judges selected the best three numbers location wise.       Food Distribution Program for flood affected families Rallis India Limited      Volunteers of Rallis India Limited Dahej organized a food distribution program for flood affected families of Lakhigam village. 600+ families taken benefit of this program       Drawing Competition Program Rallis India Limited      Rallis India organized a Drawing competition program for 3rd to 5th standard students of Girls primary school Andada. From 2nd october Gujrat government celebrated swachh Bharat abhiyan under this initiative we gave the theme for this competition swachh bharat. 60 girls students actively participated in this program.       Awareness Regarding nutrition and nutritional deficiencies Rallis India Limited      We have organized an Awareness Regarding nutrition and nutritional deficiencies session for 9th to 12th standard girls of Pioneer secondary & higher secondary school,Jitali. Dr. Mitali Panchal conducted this session & shared her knowledge to all girls students.     Cleanliness Drive Rallis India Limited      As per Gujrat pollution control Board guidelines & part of TVW-16 we have arranged a cleanliness drive program ( Plastic Waste Management) in 10 villages of Ankleshwar Taluka. We are taking this initiative for the next 100 days. Daily our 10 volunteers conduct this initiative and collect plastic waste from these villages. This collected plastic we will supply to the recycling center daily. Up to date we have covered three villages and collected 230 kg plastic waste.       Awareness on sexual health Rallis India Limited      As part of TVW-16 we volunteers of Rallis India Limited organized Awareness on sexual health session for boys students of Pioneer secondary & higher secondary school,Jitali. factory medical officer Dr.Amit Sinha conducted this session.       Awareness on Life skill development Rallis India Limited      We volunteers organized Awareness on Life skill development program at Children`s home for girls, Bharuch. This is a government center for under 18 years orphan girls. Dr.Mitali Panchal conducted this session & aware to all girls about girls' style.       Food Distribution Program Rallis India Limited      Under TVW-16 we have organized a food distribution program at the Old age home,Bharuch. 80 old age people recently living in this center. We arranged food for them. Our volunteers serve food to all people.       Engagement with school Teachers Tata Coffee Ltd      On behalf of TVW16, Team of Tata Coffee, ICD Toopran have visited the Govern high school and engaged with school teachers of Malkapur village and observed the facilities along with Village surpanch. Also engaged with students and made fun learning session.       health care & personal hygiene session. Tata Coffee Ltd      Team of Tata Coffee, ICD Toopran have interacted with students of Islampur ZPH school and organised health care & personal hygiene session. After the session coducted Physical exercise sessions for physical fitness of students under health and well ness.       Social issue awareness rally Tata Metaliks    Tata Metaliks employees undertook a rally in the nearby villages on important social issues. Employees held placards, distributed pamphlets and stuck posters at key places in the villages. The employees sang slogans, stopped and spoke to villagers on Covid19, health and hygiene, importance of education, stopping child marriage. The rally was flagged off by the senior management team and concluded with a closing ceremony at the plant premises. A small prize distribution ceremony was organized for the participants of the football match held previously. The employees shared their volunteer experience of how being a part of the community for even one day is such a gratifying experience. They encouraged other employees to also participate on a regular basis create a change by leveraging the 'power in our hands'       Blood Donation Drive at Khandke Wind Farm Site Tata Power      A mega Blood Donation Camp was being organized on last day of TVW16 i.e. on 7th Oct'21 at Khandke Wind Farm Site Ahmednagar. This camp was overwhelmed with the response from various stakeholders was amazing. More than 153 blood units were collected from the eligible blood donors which is record breaking numbers in view of TVW16. This was done in association with the partner organization Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra, Ahmednagar Blood Bank Ahmednagar and local Grampanchayats. Employees of other wind farm customers also volunteered to enrol and mobilize the bold donors.       Tree Plantation Drive at Dwarka Wind Farm Site, Gujrat Tata Power      A group of employees comprising O&M volunteers came ahead to plant native tree samplings at near to the Dwarka Wind Farm Site, Gujarat. More than 25 trees have planted in view of TVW16 by 17 volunteers.       Blood Donation Drive at Bellampalli Solar Site Tata Power      Tata Power's Bellampalli Solar Site employees have had organized Blood Donation Camp at village Boyapalli which is close to the solar power site of Bellampalli. Total 17 blood donors donated the bloods. This camp was being organized in association with the Red Cross Blood Bank, Mancherial, Telangana.       Distribution of Sports items to children of Gandhi Balashram, Bhadrak Tata Projects      on 3rd of Oct.'21- as part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, 09 employees of TPL- KV Grid Substation, Balimunda, Dhamara site visited Gandhi Bal Ashram in Bhadrak (Odisha) The Ashram is said the be the oldest and biggest orphanage in the state of Odisha with about 180 inmates. The TPL team distributed sports materials to the children, which will motivate them to engage in different sports there by improving their physical and mental health.     COVID vaccination camp Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, 03 employees of TPL - WDFCC-Vadodara site participated in COVID vaccination camp on 8th of Sep.'21. The camp was organised by Public Health Centre, for workmen, family members & their relatives and covered 146 beneficiaries.       Track Awareness training with local public at Sayan & Kim   Railway Station Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, 06 employees of TPL - CTP13 site participated in new DFCC Track Awareness training for local public at Sayan & Kim Railway Station, Gujarat on 15th of Sep.'21. Over 100 local public staying near the new DFCC track were sensitized on the potential hazards during track laying process.       Blood donation camp at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, 21 employees of TPL - Sir Ganga Ram Hospital site participated in Blood donation camp on 21st of Sep.'21, which was organised by Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Blood Bank.       Visit to Old Age Home in New Delhi Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, 09 employees of TPL - Sir Ganga Ram Hospital site visited Sai Sahara Old Age Home, New Delhi on 25th of Sep.'21 and distributed essential commodities. There were 21 inmates in the old age home.       Visit to Old Age Home Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, 41 employees of TPL - CGPL-MUNDRA SITE(PG-100052) visited Meghji Sojpal Ashram/ Old age home, near: Mandvi-Bhuj Road, on 22nd of Sep.'21 and distributed groceries, sweets and fruits. There were 99 inmates.       Visit to Zilla Parishad Primary School, Andeshe, Mulshi, Pune Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, 13 employees of TPL - Pune site visited Zilla Parishad Primary School, Andeshe, Mulshi, Pune on 28th of Sep.'21 and distributed school kits and nose mask to 50 nos. of students       Health Checkup camp for workers Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16 , on 5th Sept - 3 Volunteers from Tata Projects - Krisumi Waterfall site, organized a medical checkup camp for workers at Labour camp, Sector 36A, Gurugram, Haryana. 83 beneficiaries attended the health check up camp       Visit to Juggi Workers Children Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16 on 23rd sept , a team of 11 Volunteers from TPL- Krisumi Waterfall project site distributed school bags, stationery items to Juggi worker children's at labour camp, Sector 83, Gurugram, Haryana.       Tree Plantation Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, a team of 21 Volunteers from TPL- DC HYD 120 project site, planted 33 trees and provided awareness on topics such as house keeping and Covid 19 to children at Begarkancha Primary School, Rangareddy Dist. 40 children attended the event     Visit to Orphan Shelter Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16 on 4th Oct - team of 6 Volunteers from TPL- Krisumi Waterfall project site visited Progetto India Charitable Trust's Orphans Shelter for girls and donated grocery, school bags and toys. 20 girls were present in the shelter home.       Tree Plantation Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16 ,a team of 19 Volunteers from TPL- Krisumi Waterfall project organised tree plantation and planted 200 trees at Berampur, Gurugram, labour camp and site.         Visit to Animal Shelter Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16 ,A team of 7 Volunteers from TPL-Tata Projects SRA - 3 project site, Mumbai visited Animal shelter on occasion of world animal day and donated food supplies, medicines and grooming essentials to MCGM dogs kenner Mumbai. The team spent quality time in the feeding to dogs and cats.     Old age Home Visit Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16 , team of 8 Volunteers from TPL- DLF Midtown Project site, New Delhi visited to Apna Ghar Ashram oldage home and donated grocery and cleaning items. The team motivated them to lead a happy life.       Blood Donation Camp Tata Projects      As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, blood donation camp was organized on 18th September 2021, at Tata Projects SRA - Chembur, Mumbai with the support of Masina Hospital Blood Centre, Mumbai. Mr. Ashish Lonare - Project Manager, TPL & Mr. Gautam Sinha - Head Projects, Tata Projects inaugurated the program and addressed the volunteers on the importance of blood donation. 68 units of blood was donated by the volunteers.     Cleaning Drive at Budhanwala Ghat, Bistupur Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd      Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd PHS volunteers organised to Cleaning Drive at Budhanwala Ghat, B Volunteers assembled the Ghat and collect the waste materials which is through by people. The Team spent quality time for the valuable work. Volunteers were also aware about importance of cleaning to local people.       Food Packets Distribution at Parbati   ghat Old Age Home Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd   Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd PHS volunteers were visited to the Old Age Home Parbati Ghat Bistupur and spent a lot of time with the differently abled residents there. Food packets were distributed to all old people through volunteers. Volunteers wholeheartedly interacted with them which made this the best part of their day. They spent quality of time with all the people left unforgettable memories for all.     Anti - Larva Fogging at Cheyshire Home Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd      Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd PHS volunteers organized Anti Larva fogging at Cheshire home in and around location for prevention of mosquitoes. Cheshire home members were also involved in this fogging initiative. Volunteers distributed sweets and spent quality time with all the special female and girls of Cheshire home which left unforgettable memories for all.       Covid- 19 Awareness to nearby People   at Sukinda Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd     Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd. Odisha Business Sukinda volunteers Covid-19 awareness to nearby people and children and distributed mask and sanitizer and also told the students how to use mask and sanitizer and must clean the mask daily with soap .They were also distributed sweets to each student and spent quality time with these children which brought smiles on their face.       T Shirt and Food Distribution at   Bhimkhanda Ashram Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd   Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd. ICS and CSR department volunteers visited at Bhimkhanda Ashram and distributed T Shirt to 52 children. They were also distributed sweets and snacks to each student and spent quality time with these children which brought smiles on their face.     School Bags and Stationary Distribution to Children at Gandhi Ashram Computer Centre Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd   Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd. Administration and CSR department volunteers visited at Gandhi Ashram Computer Centre and distributed school bags with stationary to the children. They were also distributed sweets and snacks to each student and spent quality time with these children which brought smiles on their face.     Sports Materials Distribution at Pudisili School Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd   Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd department volunteers organized to visit Utkramit Middle School Pudisili and distributed sports materials- caremboards, badmintons, chess, Ludo etc. and they were also distributed sweets to each of them student. Volunteers spent quality time with these children which brought smiles on their faces.     Quiz Competition and Sports Event at UHS Dugni Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd      Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd DE&TP and CSR department volunteers organised Quiz Competition for Class IX and X students at UHS Dugni. All type of general knowledge questions, current questions were asked by volunteers and for this initiative three group of students were formed. They also distributed prizes to the winners, in this way the volunteers spend their quality time with the students. After the Quiz programme, the one Computer set was given to the School through volunteers for students. Volunteers also organised sports event for students and distributed prizes to the winners. They were also distributed sweets and snacks to each student and spent quality time with these children which brought smiles on their face.       Recognition Program for young talents from the community Tata Tinplate      Moving on to the final activity for the TVW16, Volunteers from TCIL organized a recognition ceremony for the winners of the various competitions organized & conducted for community girls and students ofcommunity schools during TVW16. The volunteers interacted with the participants and motivated them to participate in more such events which can improve their extracurricular skills. The program concluded with distribution of prizes among the winners. Overall it was a great experience for all.       Food Recipe session Rallis India Team      Rallis Lote team and Canteen Supervisor arranged a Food Recipe session for the ladies group of Awashi, Lote . The team has explained our approach to healthy eating, low-fat food, high fiber food etc. Our team has conducted a demonstration of preparation of Vegetable Fried Rice and Carrot Halwa . At the end of the session our team has conveyed a message that "Good Health starts with Good Food". A total of 12 women were present in the session and they all have enjoyed the session very well.     School Kit distribution Rallis India      On 7th October, 21 a team of Volunteers from Rallis India, Lote Unit Visited a village in Lote MIDC wherein the Industrial workers are residing. We have talk on the importance of basic education to the children.They provided Basic Education Kits to their Children with a motive to help these poor children for getting basic Education.     Road Safety Awareness Programme Amalgamated Plantation      Batabari conducted a Road Safety Awareness Programme, wherein they distributed red roses and chocolates to the drivers/riders who were not maintaining safety protocols during driving/riding the vehicles.       Child Health check up Amalgamated Plantation      Rungaumttee conducted an Antenatal and Child Health check up and distributed Supplementary nutrition products to the beneficiaries     *This update covers only some of the activities undertaken by companies. www.tataengage.com
