Tata Metaliks employees took a session on financial literacy with the trainees of Tata Metaliks Skill Development Centre, on 29th September 2021 through google meet. Employees from the Finance & Accounts department took an in-depth session on financial concepts, instruments, and savings schemes. The youths were interested in knowing safe methods of investing money. The employees also spoke on safe banking transactions and how to protect oneself from fraudulent practices. 15 employees participated in the two hours interactive session.

Employees participated in relief work to beneficiaries affected by extremely heavy rainfall. The villagers houses had got damaged due to incessant rains, the roofs completely getting collapsed. A session with children from government schools across Maharashtra was conducted online on the topic “Types of Angles”. Children learned the concepts through practical demonstration using a circle cut out of paper, compass, and protractor. Volunteers took the children through each step carefully to help them understand the different types of angles, the degree for measure by demonstrating the same on video. Children were very curious and eager to show the volunteers what they learnt and participated actively on video.

Further For sustaining this samplings we will be ensuring to deploy 2 staff on daily bases for watering this planted sampling’s.
