A team of volunteers visited Hope Home for orphan girl in Kolkata. The team taught the girls how to tie and die on a fabric which will help them live a sustainable life. Rs 25000/- was raised to support the orphanage and as per requirement from the home, a washing machine was donated. This was followed by some snacks and goodies for the girls.

Volunteers from Rallis India Ltd Ankleshwar organized an awareness session on hand wash and hygiene at the Pioneer Secondary and Higher Secondary School, Jitali. The volunteers demonstrated to the students the correct method to wash hands and with multiple steps. After the session, over 600 masks were distributed to the students from class 9 to 12.

A team from Rallis India Ltd, Lote visited Lote Grampanchayat and conducted a session with the community members on Health, Sanitation and Environment protection. The volunteers also sensitized them about seasonal diseases and precautions to be taken during Covid-19 periods. The volunteers also distributed 200 saplings of Teakwood and 24 Lts of hand wash and sanitizers to the villagers.

Rallis India Ltd Lote volunteers arranged a public speaking competition on ‘Is technology a blessing or a curse’ for students of KVS Vidyalaya, Lote. Students from class 9 and 10 spoke on the topic expressing their thoughts on how technology helped them during Covid for online and offline classes. They also highlighted the pros and cons of online classes. An online rangoli competition was also organised for high school students.

Rallis India Lote volunteers organised an essay competition on ‘My School in Lockdown’ for students of Z P School, Lotemal. Students from class 7 and 8 participated in the online session. They wrote on the current scenario of their school and shared experience on learning, asking doubts, attending online classes, variation of internet connectivity and more.
