Mr. Kishor Tar, Senior General Manager and Mr. Santosh Kumar Thakur, District Child
Protection Officer, Seraikala conducted this session and participants were glad
to receive interesting insights from the session.

Volunteers from Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd organised COVID-19
prevention session for students of Jamshedpur High School. In this session, volunteers
displayed precautionary measures that should be undertaken to protect against the
pandemic. Volunteers also showed how to make homemade sanitizers, how should we
use mask and dispose the mask at regular intervals. Teachers also clarified the
doubts posed by the students.

Due to the current pandemic, masks have become an indispensable part of our daily
lives. While many are fortunate enough to purchase a mask there are people who cannot
afford to buy one thereby using alternatives which are proven to be unsafe. The
objective of the mask making activity was to teach the employees of TCE how to make
a reusable two-layer cotton mask so that they can distribute these masks in their
neighbourhood to the beneficiaries. A video along with a specification of the materials
required was shared with employees. 122 Volunteers participated and enjoyed making
masks.

the remote area of Alibag Taluka, District Raigad. Volunteers interacted with the
residents and also distributed around 450 kg food grains, essentials such masks

Poshan Abhiyaan, a multi-ministerial convergence mission to ensure attainment of
malnutrition-free India by 2022. Its aim is to ensure holistic development and adequate
nutrition for pregnant women, mothers and children. Volunteers from Tata Consulting
engineers demonstrated about growing micro greens which are rich in several nutrients
and can be easily grown from the available resources. Session was organised for
the caregivers and teachers of differently abled students.

In this session, students were made aware of some ‘common figures of speech’, explanation
and usage in constructing the sentences.

reused.

On 24th September, 2020 a group of seven volunteers from Rallis India, Lote Unit
visited Checkdam (Watershed project) situated at Ghagwadi, Songaon, Lote. This Watershed
was built for the nearby community with an aim to make water available throughout
the year. Communities make use of the water from this checkdam for various purposes
such as domestic uses, vegetable farming, hydro power generation etc. Volunteers
also cleaned the premises of checkdam, removed all the unwanted wastes.

Awareness session for Vaghra ITI trainees. 55 trainees & few instructors attended
the session. Mr.Arvind Mahuli, Safety head, Dahej Unit along with few volunteers
conducted the session and created awareness about safety precautions to be undertaken
in industrial areas. They also told the participants about various types of hazardous
situation in industrial areas and how one can be safe if necessary precautions are
undertaken.

changes in girls for 6th to 8th of primary girls school from Andada. Phycologist
Ms.Manasi Amdekar conducted this session & shared some knowledge regarding health
and biological changes in females. Many girls in this age group are unaware about
the biological changes, menstruation cycles, pregnancy, etc. Through this session
participants benefitted and learnt many new things about female body.

on enriching the lives of several thousand students. A training session was conducted
for members of Naandi Foundation on various topics such as Whale Done Concept, Sustenance
in Life - Synergy of Team and Goal Alignment. The trainers were thoroughly involved
and left us with a high level of learning and awareness on topics which in their
own words would help them in reaching out to young minds and hearts whom they touch
on a daily basis.

A story telling session was conducted by volunteers for children at Juvenile Home,
Hyderabad on 25 September 2020. Volunteers recited the story of Swami Vivekananda
- an inspiring and well-known personality who was a spiritual leader and social
reformer. Volunteers explained the children about his early life, education, teachings,
tremendous intellect and his unique contributions which always enlightened us.

Volunteers from Tata Projects got involved in the "Making Planters from Pet Bottles"
and were excited to recycle the plastic bottles to create best out of waste. Volunteers
