and shared knowledge on various application of Google such as Gmail, Google Drive,
Google Doc, Google Sheet, Google Drawing, Google Forms & Google meet. 75 students
have participated in the event and actively participated in the quiz.

Human Resources team of Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa organised an activity to
disinfect the local old aged home Arc of Hope Candolim. Coordinating with the old
age home’s incharge, the team went fully armed with vapour, mist, fog and fumigators
to clean and disinfect the home and its surroundings. While the housekeeping did
their job in the rooms, Mr. Rohan Patil from Human Resources team spent time with
the elderly and briefed them on hygiene and sanitization. He explained them in their
local language so that they could understand easily. He advised them to wear masks
if they had cold, cough or fever to not infect the others and maintain cough etiquettes.
During times of isolation and quarantine, older people need safe access to support
their physical health. Mr. Anmol Ahluwalia, General Manager – Taj North Goa applauded
Rohan & the team’s efforts in sincerely caring for our community.

the group of NGO staff who work for covid-19 relief. The session was informative
and about 40 beneficiaries participated.

Mr. Upendra Joshi from TCE Mumbai, conducted ‘Making Planters from Pet Bottles’
activity for their employees. 38 beneficiaries enthusiastically participated in
the activity. To avoid going into plastic waste the pet bottles were reused adding
value to the green footprint. The session was aimed to use minimal use of water.

Volunteer from Tata Project mentored a student to understand her problems and challenges
in terms of choosing right career path. Volunteer guided her and discussed about
various aspects that would help her build her career such as resume preparation,
mock interviews, post-graduation programme that can be done through distant learning,
etc. They also discussed about physical wellbeing, Social responsibilities, financial
independence and women empowerment in brief. It was an enriching experience for
the student as well as volunteer.

Volunteers from Tata Consulting Engineers Limited conducted Career Counselling session
for school students of MASOOM NGO. The activity involved 30 beneficiaries. The children
were explained on why they need to focus on learning in their life. A small exercise
was conducted to build in self confidence amongst the students. They were asked
to share life stories. The session was very interactive & all participants shared
their life experiences. They were oriented on how to face the interviews. We also
focused on communication skills & emphasized them to have a MENTOR in their life
for better future.

Rallis India, Lote team volunteers organised an Online experience sharing session
with 2020 SSC toppers. Four Toppers in SSC 2020 shared their experience with 72
SSC students of two schools in Lote area. Their sharing includes time management,
prioritizing subjects, daily scheduling of all activities, preparation for examinations,
reading general knowledge, focusing more on tough subjects etc. The students asked
many questions to the toppers and clarified their doubts. The entire session was
well accepted by all the participants.

As part of TVW14, volunteers from Rallis India Limited, Ankleshwar unit arranged
and awareness sessions regarding nutrition and nutritional deficiencies for 6th
to 8th standard girls from Primary School, Andada. Ms. Manasi Amdekar, psychologist
conducted the session and covered several points like body changes, precautions
to be taken during menstrual cycle, how to dispose sanitary napkins etc. 20+ girls
participated this session.

Upon a Time’, an online activity with NGO partner ‘Door Step School (DSS)’. Stories
are our primary tools of learning and teaching, the repositories of our lore and
legends & the same has been well executed by our storytellers during the scheduled
activity named as “Once Upon A Time“ on 11th September 2020. Storytellers/Volunteers
ensured to involve kids during the session, they encouraged kids to communicate
& express themselves.

with 67 underprivileged kids through video call for an engaging activity. The activity
was titled as ‘Scientists in making’ where volunteers exhibited insightful science
experiments to the children of DSS. The volunteers interacted with children about
importance of Science in our day to day activities. Students were shown and guided
science experiments on video call. The students enjoyed the experiential learning.

Volunteers from Tata Consulting Engineers organised a drawing competition for orphanage
kids. Sai Nele Foundation, NGO partner gave the opportunity to visit their orphanage.
Around 20 kids connected via Microsoft teams video call along with their care takers
from the orphanage for engaging activity of Drawing competition for the kids. Towards
the end, basic color mixing tutorial video was shown to the kids.

Volunteers from Rallis India along with our Science Intervention Consultant Mr.
Abhay Yawalkar arranged an Online Science Projects session for the students of nearby
schools of Lote area. In the session, students learnt to make a model of Aircraft
by using material like A4 size paper, straw, broom stick, old invitation card, etc.
Consultant explained the methodology and science applied in making an Aircraft model.
Students also had a hands-on experience to make the Aircraft model with the materials
available with them. Approximately 36 students actively participated in the session
and enjoyed the session.

Taj SATS and their NGO Partner, Sahamarmi, took a noble initiative of helping the
villagers of Sundarbans area who are below the poverty level and are hit hard by
the COVID 19 as well as by the cyclone “Amphan”. Volunteers distributed essential
food items like rice, pulses, flour, ata, oil, sugar, salt, masala, soya bean and
flatten rice. Volunteers went to the remote villages of Sundarban district such
as Kumarmari, Mollakhali, Sathjelia, Rangaberia and Lahiripur. The food items were
distributed among 1428 poor families living in these areas.

students. A group of students from the Government school of Karnataka in the district
of Kolar from Std. 4th to 9th joined the classes virtually. Volunteers have been
teaching three kids of Std. 6th. They are all keen learners and are working hard.

of traffic rules and signals.

Prevention Awareness Session for JUSCO Super 20 Batch -I and Batch -II engineering
students. In this session, a presentation was made by volunteers to create awareness
about the pandemic and safety precautions that can be followed to be safe from COVID
19. Volunteers also explained how to create home made sanitizer, correct use mask
and disposal of mask and regular intervals. Meanwhiles, the students and teachers
also removed many doubts related to Covid -19.

PPE kits as per requirement. The needy people of the area of the municipal corporation
of Chas Project Site, Bokaro were given 65 jars of hand sanitizer (5 liters in each
jar), 20 box gloves (100 nos. gloves in each box), 20 packets Surgical Masks (100
nos. masks in each packets) and 2000 kg Sodium hypochlorite for sanitization of
village area by volunteers so that they can use it in this Covid-19 epidemic to
protect themselves.

a goal, never lose courage, etc. Family member of employee also connected from London
to share experience and motivate the students.
