To mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi this year Tata Power DDL conducted activities
around across all 350 women literacy centres and 18 vocational training centres across 12
operational districts in North and North West Delhi namely Shakti Nagar, Model town, Civil Lines,
Mangolpuri, Keshavpuram, Pitampura, Moti Nagar, Rohini, Shalimar bagh, Badli, Narela & Bawana.
The campaign aimed to create sensitization on reduction of violent acts, tolerance level, Swachhata
Abhiyan of Central Government of India and Say No to Plastic. The drive witnessed the huge
participation of employees, WLC & ABHA women, and vocational training beneficiaries. The activities
conducted also included Best out of Waste, Session on Climate Change, Session on Waste management & others.

Volunteers conducted cleanliness drive and started with picking up all the litters spread across
the New Sidhgora Puja Pandal, Cinema Maidan and did mass awareness on "Say No to Plastics" and
proper disposal of the same. Volunteers made a great effort in clearing the plastics and other
litters and urged all the people (who had come to visit the pandal), stall vendors and committee
members to help us in keeping the surrounding clean and use the dustbins. Around collected 50 kgs
of plastics waste was collected.

On the day of Navami Puja, TBSPL Jamshedpur volunteers continued their cleanliness drive under
"Clean Pujo Campaign" in Amalsangh Puja Pandal, Sidhgora. Volunteers from Sri Sathya Sai Seva
Org also joined the cause and conducted the cleanliness and awareness drive.
