As a part of TVW-12, a group of seven volunteers from Rallis India Lote Unit arranged an awareness
session on monsoon diseases for the industrial workers of Lote MIDC Area. A total of 44 workers were
present in the programme. Our Volunteers explained about the common diseases during the monsoon season,
its treatment, precautions to be taken. They also briefed them about the necessity of personal hygiene
and proper hand wash to keep ourselves always healthy, neat and clean.

Awareness session on fire safety

An awareness session on fire safety was organised for 70 school students of class 9th and 10th of
Dr. Rammanohar Lohiya High School, Ghatotand. Employees of TSL and partners volunteered and disseminated
information on fire hazards and their safety measures. A fire tender was also availed by company so that
students can practical demonstration of the measures and rescue function during fire break-out.

development implementation team organised an activity at the open school free class, Yamuna Bank,
Delhi. Both out of school children and school going students come here to do their homework.

hypertension and sleep disorders. It is important that we take note of this issue and take some serious steps
to rid our cities of this menace. Team of 45 participants along with the help of Local Police Authorities,
made awareness among local public as No Honking Day and urged all citizens to join us in this initiative by
taking the pledge to Not Honk.

for the women and adolescents girls in two nearby villages. This event was organised in association with

The volunteering team from MYST Kasauli organized a cleanliness drive at the village road of 1.5 KM
long connecting village Kalth to main city road. The team cleaned and cut the unwanted high grass and
bushes which had covered the road creating visual obstruction to the drivers on the hilly road and
'increasing chances of fatal accidents. The team also cleaned the plastic wrappers, used water bottles etc.
thrown on the side of the road and cleared the drains to facilitate the drainage of the storm water.

The team from La Vida project site Gurugram partnered with the NGO Ek Prayas Ek Pahal, where vocational
training is provided to special kids and free education to kids from underprivileged section of the society.
The team members provided coaching on solving mathematical problems and organized a drawing competition.
They also provided snacks for the children and prizes to the winners of the competition.

A group of 12 volunteers comprising of employees and their family members participated in an awareness session
on water borne diseases in the village of Bhagalpur in Joda Block, Keonjhar district of Odisha. The villagers
were sensitized on the importance of good health, hygiene and sanitation practices. The ill-effects of mosquitoes
and checks to prevent the spread of Dengue & other diseases were discussed. The volunteers were joined by local
ASHA workers and Anganwadi staff in explaining various schemes and facilities made available by the Government.

A safety and fire fighting session was organized by the security department of TCIL for the Students
of Vidya Jyoti Tinplate High School. Dr. J.P. Singh, Head (Security Services) along with the other
employees from the security dept. of TCIL conducted the session on how to remain safe and secure,
both at school and home. The program was attended by 100 students along with the teachers.

by competent doctors of Mednapur Diagnostic centre, Mednapur and medicines were distributed as per
prescription of the doctors in Kharagpur foundry by p team of Tata Metaliks & Mednapur Diagnostic centre.
The camp was organised by Tata Metaliks in collaboration with Kharagpur Metal Reforming Industries pvt ltd.

at Airoli office. A total of 186 volunteers came forward for blood donation out of which 143 units of
blood was collected successfully. The donors were given coffee mugs as a token of appreciation.

18 volunteers of Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd., Noida, participated in an awareness session on Health
and Hygiene for the students of a primary class. The session was followed by quiz activity and distribution
of basic hygiene kits consisting of tooth paste, tooth brush, soap, bandage etc. to the students and winners
of quiz were awarded with gifts. Eye testing camp was also organized for students. More than 100 students of
Standard I, II & III were tested for eye sight healthiness.

wings to girls who are visually impaired but are very talented. During the Volunteering week, 11 employees

today. 300 saplings of guava will be planted this month. 10 employees of TSLPL and 3 staff of
M/s Aident Social Welfare Organisation also participated in the awareness drive.
