Tata Steel Long Products Limited gathered at the Regional Bridge Course Centre, Bileipada to celebrate
Teacher’s Day with the residential boys and teachers. Teachers were felicitated by the students during
the event. 32 volunteers including company employees, family members and other guests participated in
the program.

Volunteers from various departments (Internal Audit, C&MM, IT Group, PSC, L&D, Contract and Finance)
organized activities at Vocational Training Centers (Timarpur, Shahbad Dairy, CSA Colony, Wazirpur, Badli
and Shakurpur) to celebrate the Teachers Day. Volunteers conducted an awareness session on Teachers Day,
distributed stationary items to beneficiaries and played the role of the teacher for a day. Beneficiaries
participated in the activities with great enthusiasm and created greeting cards for the teachers.

employees planted trees for development of a dry deciduous forest patch which will serve as a habitat

Volunteers visited government primary schools at Kandlakoya and Suthariguda villages of Rangareddy district,
Telangana. The team distributed educational kits to the students studying in these schools and organised story-
telling session and conducted indoor games. In addition to this the day being teacher’s day volunteers
organised a few games for the teachers as well.

Kendra School. The main objective of this activity was to ignite the creative side of the children's mind and

Tata Technologies senior leadership team members launched the Tata Volunteering week at its India
Headquarter at Pune. A blood donation drive was organized to support Thalassemic children of Pune.
Every year Tata Technologies employees donate blood units and support 350 Thalassemic children of
the city through registered blood bank.

TCIL employees celebrated Teacher's day with the students and teachers of vocational training courses at
Aastha Community Development centre, Gandak Road. The students showed their respect and gratitude to
their teachers through various co-curricular activities. Employees motivated these children by sharing the
importance of teachers in their career and bright future. Teachers of vocational training courses and remedial
classes were recognized.
