in their surrounding. They spoke to the street food vendors about the importance of
cleaning and disinfection of food surfaces and surroundings for reducing the potential
of cross-contamination, good hygiene practices and its implications for consumers.

Maitree and P4L volunteers along with TCS Gujarat CSR team coached over 500 children in 5
Government-supported schools across four villages of Gandhinagar and one residential school
in Ahmedabad. They conducted different activities for children like literary activities guided
by Toastmasters Club, Art and craft by Maitree Artomania Club, Dramatics with Maitree Nautanki
Group, music training through experts from Maitree Rhythm club, Dance workshop for all children
by Maitree Gandhinagar Dance Group (GDC) and exciting quiz sessions through Maitree Prabuddh
Quiz club.

Lalabhatta, Babudih to put up educational posters on the classroom walls to create a learning
environment for the students. They made the students the posters and encouraged them to create

24 volunteers visited High school, Simuldanga for an interactive session with the students.
They screened a short video on steel making in Tata Steel followed by two skits on messages
around 'education for girls' and 'where there is a will, there is a way'. They also sang a
motivational song with the students. The session concluded with a round of quiz on daily
safety measures and general knowledge.

20 volunteers from Procurement JDC of Tata Steel visited Primary School, Ladaidungri to
spend time with the kids. They distributed basic necessities like toothbrush, toothpaste
and tongue cleaners with a demonstration on how to follow the daily hygiene regimen. The
team also gave talks on the importance of pure drinking water and demonstrated how to use
a water filter.

For this camp, a team of doctors from Narayana super specialty Hospital volunteered their services.
