A team of volunteers visited the Children’s Centre in K. Villingili managed by Ministry
of Gender, Family and Social Services. They hosted a lunch at the Centre for the kids
The kitchen team made a special menu with deserts for the lunch and cash donations
were given by a lot of associates where a total amount of MVR 16,376 was raised.
The children enjoyed the meal.

A plantation drive was conducted at MVML Chakan Premises. 10 volunteers of team stationed
at site arranged 15 plant saplings (Mango, Cyprus, Almond, Ashok and Jamun). The saplings

Tata Sponge volunteers - employees & their family members organized a Shishu Kalyan Pratiyogita,
a child well-being assessment program at the Vidya Shakti Niyas training hall, Bileipada. More
than 120 young children from nearby villages came to participate in the program. The children
were assessed on several criteria, like weight, cognitive learning & response, upkeep & others.

training for the school students in the Maska Higher Secondary School. The students were oriented
about the importance of safety and putting safety culture in the daily way of life. The volunteers
also shared how the students can play a bigger role to spread the message of safety in society.

at Cheshire home. Also, volunteers contributed food items and toiletries to the home.

Ten volunteers from H-Blast Furnace organized a small event for fellow female contractual
staffs on the eve of International Women's day. 15 female employees were honored at the
event. A small video on Arunima Sinha, the first female amputee to scale Mount Everest
was screened during the event. To add a cultural twist, female employees performed a
tribal dance. The event was concluded with a team lunch at the Madrasi Hotel.

8th class in at Blue Lotus English School, Shivani, Akola. The question paper set for
20 questions (objective type) based mostly on the academic syllabus and also covered
general awareness about health, diseases, chemicals, solar systems etc. 18 students
participated in this activity.
