Temple, Shahunagar area. The volunteers explained the importance of swine flu vaccine and 107 people
took the vaccine.

TCL employees and family members took-up hedge plantation work at Mithapur during "Protect our
Pollinators" campaign. Stumps of Euphorbia cactus which flowers during the summer season were planted.
The purpose is to improve the density and diversity of flowering plants during the lean season so that
pollinators like bees, butterflies and sunbirds can find sustenance.

TSPDL celebrated their flagship event- Kids' Carnival with the children of two organizations -
Udbhas and Jhamapukur Sri Ramakrishna Sangha. Breakfast was served to the children followed by
the distribution of colorful jersey to both school students. Various sports events were organized
for the children. A football match for the boys and a musical chair event for the girls rounded up
the sports program.
