Volunteer speak

Carolyn Celine DuPratt: Around 20 volunteers from TSPDL visited an old age home, Little Sister of the Poor, and spent time with the aged, talked to them and brought smiles to their faces. We organised a short entertainment programme which brought so much happiness and joy to them. We entertained them by singing, reciting and also organised a quiz based on Bollywood films and were amazed to watch their eagerness to answer and their knowledge and good memory of old movies. Our COO, Abraham Stephanos, entertained them by playing the guitar and singing some old English songs which they joined in singing and started tapping to the music. Some elderly ladies also got up and danced. We left the home feeling so good within ourselves by spending time with these elderly people. We would definitely do this again.
