JUSCO PHHS department volunteers organized the tree plantation drive during the ‘Green Initiative’ at Cheshire home premises. Volunteers planted total 50 mango plants in the Cheshire home campus area.
 
  Drawing competition Tata Chemicals  |  Babrala
 
TCSRD Babrala organized a drawing competition programme on World Water Day at a village house near the Yara Fertilisers Plant, Babrala - UP. A team of volunteers including ex-Tata employees, & school teachers organized awareness programmes on water conservation through drawing competition for school children in different groups of six primary & upper primary schools. The main motto of the programme was to make the school children aware on importance of water for human health.

JUSCO EPC department volunteers organized the drawing competition foe class I to III students and sports activity for class IV to VIII students at Middle School Sunibasa, Chakulia and Utkramit Middle School Pinderabera. All the children participated enthusiastically involved in the activities. Volunteers also distributed crayons for drawing competition. Winners received prizes and sweets each of them.

An eye check-up camp and an awareness on general hygiene was organized at RBC boys and Girls Hostel in Joda. In the camp total 57 boys and 80 girls were examined (vision test, torch light preliminary eye check-up and BP for girls above 12 yrs).

JUSCO PHHS department volunteers organized fogging at Cheshire home in and around location for prevention of mosquitoes. Cheshire home members were also involved in this fogging initiative. Volunteers spent quality time with all the residents from Cheshire home.
 
  Medical camp Tata Global Beverages  |  Bangalore
 
TGBL Bangalore conducted a free medical camp for school children present in the neighboring village of the factory site location. This year the factory identified one Government primary school, Narasapura, Nelamangala Dist Bangalore. The school is located 6 km from the Factory site and consists of the students from lower primary sections. A total of 24 students of the age group 10 to 12 years were subjected to full physical checkup. Based on the prescription of the doctor the students are issued with the medicines and for furthers evaluation, the students’ parents were informed and on the cost of the company referred to MATRU SHREE Hospital.

JUSCO ICS department volunteers organized a quiz competition for the students of New Primary School Bantanagar, Adityapur. All the children participated enthusiastically involved in the quiz, winners were distributed prizes and sweets each of them. Volunteers discussed about personal health and importance of cleanliness in our life. The team spent quality time with all the children which left unforgettable memories for all.

Rallis Akola volunteers organised a health & hygiene awareness session at Z.P. Primary School at Shivar. Rallis Medical Officer alongwith the team gave information related to day to day hygiene required for better healthy life.

JUSCO ICS and CSR department organized the mushroom agriculture training for female of Parbatipur village. All female assembled at the Shikcha Protsahan Kendra Acadamic centre for mushroom agriculture training. Volunteers arranged the mushroom training programme for three day’s training programme.

JUSCO PSD & CSR department organized a medical camp for general health check-up for villagers of Itagarh and over all 78 members of the village including school’s students were benefited. Team of Doctors distributed vitamin and iron supplements and necessary medicines and recommended further medical treatments. This camp also included an awareness campaign where our team enlightened the males, females and children about health, hygiene and sanitation.

Tata Sponge volunteers organized a sunstroke awareness program at Dampur village, Kandara Grampanchayat in Keonjhar, Odisha. The program witnessed participation from company volunteers and a local NGO. During the awareness program, villagers were made aware about causes of sunstroke and heatstroke related problems during summer months. Knowledge was shared on the preventive measures. The villagers were advised to have small meals throughout a day and to drink plenty of water.

JUSCO Administration & Security, CSR department volunteers organized the Mega Event “Reduce Reuse Recycle” activity for students [IV, V, VI, and VII] of Utkramit Middle School Bhatia Basti Kadma. Volunteers conducted a quiz competition related to environment, gave token gift to the winners. Volunteers aware the students how to use waste material like waste car wheels, bottles, they made study table by car wheel, unused bottle dust bin, pen stand, flower pots and chalk dust bins etc. Students enjoyed and learnt precious things for life. They also distributed sweets and pens to each of them.

Taj Chandigarh visited the small children under the care of anganwadi, and spent some quality time with them. The students were delighted to see the snacks as they indulged in a fun and frolic day reciting rhymes sipping juices.

JUSCO FMC department volunteers organized the Tata Engage activity at UMS Lupungdih. During the activity volunteers distributed school bags to each of them school students. They also distributed sports materials for the school’s students and cleaning items for school toilets cleaning.

They covered various topics like electrical faults result in shock, burns of fire, static electricity, consequences of fire, preventive methods of electrical fires, over current devices, electrical safety maintenance & fire safety preparations through PPT.

Rallis volunteers visited MBA foundation and met the students. 8 volunteers joined various the groups who were preparing greeting cards, paper bags, rose flowers of cloth. Volunteers enjoyed making articles with them. Volunteers have interacted with them about their likings, favorite movies, hobbies. Event ended with snacks distribution and smile on their faces after meeting with us.

Tata Sponge volunteers organized a mega blood donation camp in the company township today. The program was inaugurated by the Managing Director who encouraged everyone to come forward and save lives by donating blood. Also present during the occasion were the CFO, Chief (BES & CSR), senior executives & others. The program was made successful by 115 volunteers including company employees, contractual workforce & family members. The program completed with collection of 100 units of blood by the Red Cross Society, Keonjhar.

The volunteers from Coastal Gujarat Power Limited (CGPL) took a unique initiative to mark World Sparrow Day. In close coordination with the Biodiversity Club of CGPL, they distributed free artificial nets for the sparrows. The volunteers mobilized voluntary contribution and distributed 500 nests to all the residents of the CGPL Aashiyna township as the summer is the breeding season for sparrows and this happens to be just the right time to set up the nests.

The Team #tajbanjara & #tajkrishna had a wonderful time interacting with the students and faculty of Tata STRIVE. The General Manager addressed the Electrician batch students & answered their queries about career in hospitality & the prospects that the students can look for. The session was extremely enlightening for a lot of our team members who have not visited the Tata Strive center earlier. They were amazed to see the infrastructure that has been put into place to impart quality training to the students.

TCS Maitree Bangalore organized an inter school drawing competition for the best 3 students from each of the TCS Maitree adopted Govt. schools. The event saw a participation of more than 50 students on Theme India 2030. Prizes and gifts were distributed by Senior management team of TCS Bangalore.

33 employees from ERC AED – CVBU Pune (TTL/TML) donated around 300KG of newspapers, scrap paper, magazines etc. to NGO – EDARCH, “Entrepreneurship Development and Rehabilitation Center for the Handicapped”. Material was picked up by EDARCH from Auto Cluster and some of employees visited their industry to interact with the working people and the process.

12 Volunteers from Taj Bangalore visited Morning Star Ashrama near Bagalur cross Bangalore and served lunch to the resident children. Morning Star ashrama is a charitable institution located near Bagalur cross in Bangalore. They provide food, education & shelter to about 110 abandoned children. Out of the 110 children, around 45-50 children are bedridden due to undernourishment. Taj Bangalore supports this Ashrama by donating surplus food every day.

Rallis India Ltd, Dahej unit organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Red Cross Blood Bank, Bharuch. Employees devoted time for from the busy schedule and 43 company employees and 11 contract employees participated. A total of 52 units of blood was donated.

Rallis India Limited Dahej organised a health and hygiene session with focus on TB at OHC for the contract work force. More than 50 workers were educated on the same topic. Medical Officer gave very useful inputs on health and hygiene for the chemical workers.

A family member of Tata Motors Pantnagar plant employee visited the day care center in the slum area of the Rudrapur. She conducted an awareness session on health and sanitation and how to take proper care of child from an early stage.

Employees of Estate Dept. of Tata Steel visited their adopted school at Dhusra and spent time with the tribal children. The team took an awareness session on health and hygiene and emphasized the habit of proper hand wash. They also distributed some school stationaries.

Employees from TQM organized a zoo visit for the children of their adopted school. The children were highly excited as for most of them it was a first visit to a zoo.
