  Visit to a school Tata Motors  |  Pune
 
A team of 25 volunteers from Indirect Tax Team visited Poona School and Home for the Blind Trust. The team donated INR 17,000/- and planted fruit trees in surroundings of school with Save Trees and Save Life Posters. They distributed chocolate’s and gave them a ride in Tata branded cars.
 
  Health and hygiene awareness session Tata Global Beverages  |  Bangalore
 
7 volunteers visited a village in Nagarahole and distributed solar lamps to 44 families. This village is located inside Nagarahole forest and there is no electricity to this village. A health and hygiene awareness programme was conducted for school children at same village. They distributed stationery kits comprising of notebook, pen, pencil, sharpener, eraser & scale.

A team of 10 volunteers, including vendor partners went to an open area near Sasken Technology and planted 8 saplings of neem, jackfruit and mango.

A volunteer visited Tata STRIVE center and conducted a session on interpersonal skills. The session was well received by the students and involved a lively debate.
 
  Hygiene workshop Indian Hotels  |  Delhi
 
Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi visited the day care center of Jamghat (an NGO) at Dariya Ganj. The volunteers across departments came together to spread awareness on personal hygiene, This was depicted by the help of a puppet show emphasizing on the importance of Hygiene in our lives. A volunteer from the hygiene department made the session interactive by engaging kids with useful tips concerning their daily routine. The kids were excited and happy after spending quality time with the volunteers.
 
  Cleanliness Drive Indian Hotels  |  Delhi
 
The team of the Taj Mahal Hotel organized a cleaning drive wherein associates across departments assembled to clean the periphery of the hotel. The team was led by the Resident Manager, Executive Housekeeper and the Director of Human Resources. Later, they emphasized the importance of cleanliness and how can they make their surroundings look clean and beautiful.
 
  Water Conservation Session Indian Hotels  |  Delhi
 
A team of twenty volunteers from The Taj Mahal Hotel gathered together to spread awareness amongst the students of Akshay Pratishthan about water conservation. The attendees at Akshay Pratishthan were differently abled children, abled children and under-privileged children. These students were from classes 6th to 8th, they were happy to see the volunteers come to visit them and spend quality time with them. The Deputy Chief Engineer delivered an interactive session explaining the children about water conservation benefits and importance in our lives. He also equipped them with information about various techniques used to conserve water. The children along with teachers and attendees pledged to save water for the future generations.

The volunteers from the Taj Mahal Hotel alongwith volunteers from Taj Diplomatic Hotel came together to be a part of a Hygiene session for children at the NGO, Soap for Hope in Delhi, Mangolpuri. The aim was to educate the children on importance of Hygiene in everyone’s lives. Towards the end of the session the participants were handed over soap cakes to facilitate personal hygiene and emphasize on bathing every day.
 
  Cleanliness drive Ginger Hotels  |  Jamshedpur
 
A team of 15 volunteers from Ginger Hotel Jamshedpur, arranged a river & ghat cleanliness drive situated at Sonari “Rivers Meet”. The team actively participated in cleaning and removing the unwanted things from the water and nearby public place. One part of the ghat area and its surrounding area was also cleaned and maintained to upkeep the beauty of surrounding nature.

15 Volunteers from Ginger Hotel Manesar served flavoured drinks to the general public along with few eatable items in the industrial area of IMT Manesar. Various Taxis, Auto Rickshaws and passer-by were benefited with the activity.

Ginger Hotel Vapi, took up the task of Tree Plantation near Honda Show room to make the environment looked greener.
 
  Visit to an old age home Indian Hotels  |  Chandigarh
 
Few employees along with the HOD’s visited an old age home sector 15 Chandigarh. They sang old songs and dedicated these songs to the members of the home. Even they joined in the songs and danced along. After putting up a small entertainment programme they spent time enjoying snacks and drinks with them.

Team members of Vivanta by Taj-Surajkund, NCR got together to take a pledge to make mother earth green and healthy. All the team members planted saplings at the hotel’s lawn. Employees from different departments joined in for this initiative. The aim of this activity was to create a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

Rallis India volunteers organised a session on Fashion Designing for the women who joined tailoring class under the AA initiative. Volunteers gave tips on Business development for women. The session was very valuable to them as they do not have any exposure of Fashion Designing and Business Development.
 
  Physiotherapy session for children Rallis India  |  Lote
 
Volunteers from Rallis India Lote unit visited 'Jidda' School running for the disabled children at Chiplun. They organized a physiotherapy practical exercise session of disabled children of the school. Under CSR the company provided Physiotherapy equipment at Jidda schools to improve physical fitness of the children with a trained therapist. Children are getting trained in various activities. At the end of the session they distributed sweets to the children.
 
  Visit to a slum Tata Bluescope Steel  |  Bhiwandi
 
Volunteers from Tata BlueScope Steel Bhiwandi Plant visited slum areas and interacted with the people there on education and schooling of the kids and encouraged them to send the kids to Mogli School run by R C Chauhan Charitable Trust in the evening. The team tried to talk to families especially parents (mother) on importance of educating the children and encouraged them to continue the schooling of their child especially girl child. It was a satisfying visit as they felt that the people listened to them and agreed with their suggestions. In the end, note book and pencils were distributed to the children to motivate and encourage them.
 
  Computer literacy session Tata Coffee  |  Toopran
 
The volunteers of Tata Coffee Ltd – ICD Toopran team engaged with Govt. ZPH school pupil and teachers. The volunteers conducted awareness program on Computer Literacy for 60 students and shared the material of computer basics to all. Some of the old students of the school, shared their personal experience on learning computer and its importance in present competitive world. This program successfully met the objective by spreading communication on importance of computer learning.
 
  Technical session for youth Tata Consulting Engineers  |  Pune
 
TCE Pune organized an AutoCAD training program for the 23 ITI students. They trained them on the basics of the software. This activity has been organized every Saturday of the week.
 
  Visit to an old age home Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
Volunteers visited an old-age home – Apna Ghar Ashram and spent time with the residents. They shared their life experiences with them. Some material of requirement like medicines were also provided.
 
  Blood donation camp Tata Consulting Engineers  |  Pune
 
TCE in collaboration with Akshay Blood Bank organized a 'Blood Donation Camp' in the Pune office. Around 65 volunteers from TCE Pune actively participated. 51 units of blood was donated.
 
  Career counselling session Tata Consulting Engineers  |  Pune
 
11 volunteers along with senior participated in a career counselling program and counselled the students about achieving aims and ambitions. The session included various self-motivating activities as well as activities which raised the confidence of young ITI students.
 
  Legal awareness session Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
An awareness session was organized on legal rights & laws for the beneficiaries of Vocational Training Centre – Rohini. 70+ beneficiaries benefitted from the valuable knowledge shared by 12 volunteers. The session was aimed to help the beneficiaries in building a foundation of strong values to climb the ladder of success in an ethical way.
 
  Health check-up camp Tata Metaliks  |  Kharagpur
 
The health camp was conducted in three foundries covering approx. 150 foundry workers. Vital parameters like weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, primary health screening was conducted followed by general medicine distribution based on the readings of mentioned parameters. The response from the foundry workers was overwhelming and they requested us to undertake similar camps on regular basis. They also suggested to arrange for Eye Checkup as part of such health camps.
 
  Spending time with children Tata Consulting Engineers  |  Pune
 
18 volunteers participated in the activity that engaged with the children of construction workers who attend a bridge school under the TCE sponsored School on Wheels (SoW) program. The play session ended with distribution of snacks, biscuits and handing over the play equipments to these kids for their future. SoW is a flagship program by TCE in Pune that provides basic schooling for children of migratory workers, enrolls them in local schools and as continued support, provide remedial classes to those children enrolled. The bus also serves as a mobile library.
 
  Visit to a centre Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
A team of 38 volunteers made a visit to vocational training centre at Shakurpur. Volunteers inspired the students to perform different activities like small acts, poem-recitation and songs in front of class. They shared their experiences with tutorial class students and motivated them to study well. Students of computer class and beautician class shared their learnings. Valuable tips and tricks for basics of computer was shared with computer class students. Goodies were also distributed amongst them.
 
  Medical camp Tata Steel Processing and Distribution  |  Kolkata
 
TSPDL volunteers along with the organisation, Howrah Vigyan Chetna Samannaya organised a Medical Camp for general health check-up at Amberia SSK, Shyampur, Block I, Howrah. The program started with the volunteers reaching the venue and setting up the Shamiyana for the patients to sit. They noted down the patient’s name and gave them the coupon for their turn to come up for the check-up. A team of doctors checked the patients, prescribed medicines, and recommended necessary medical treatment to them. The volunteers also assisted the patients to the doctor and distributed medicines to them as prescribed by the doctor. At last, the program ended with thanking all the doctors for their contribution in conducting the program successfully.
 
  Drug de-addiction camp Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
Tata Power - DDL, in association with Prajapita Brahm Kumari’s organized drug de-addiction camp for the communities in Delhi. Organizing team with help from employee volunteers made home visits to the residents of the clusters motivating them to attend the camp and avail benefits from it. The team of volunteers also counselled the attendants of the camp and free homeopathic medicines were distributed to them.
 
  Awareness session on pollution Tata Coffee  |  Toopran
 
The volunteers of Tata Coffee Ltd – ICD Toopran team engaged with TS Govt. residential school pupil and teachers. The volunteers conducted awareness program on pollution control and organized drawing competition for 130 students. This program helped in creating awareness to the rural pupil who are partially aware of pollution and sustainability. This program successfully met the objective by spreading communication on impact of pollution and sustainability for livelihood. This event concluded by honoring senior teachers in the school and distribution of appreciation certificates to the drawing competition winners and consolation prizes for the participants.
 
  Providing water facility Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
Tata Power-DDL dedicated two RO plants to community of Swarn Jayanti Vihar (resettlement colony) and Ganga Ram Colony, Narela in presence of CEO & MD, Tata Power-DDL. These RO plants are of Industrial type and having capacity of purifying 500 litres of water per hour, with provision of water dispensing units (ATW) to facilitate RO water at the convenience of the residents. 130 Tata Power-DDL volunteers visited nearby community to spread awareness about the importance of safe drinking water and cleanliness. Through these RO Plants, approx. 7000 household shall get direct benefit of potable water on daily basis.

TFA & Sports department organized a yoga session for the Jharkhand Armed Police force members. Objective of this session was to increase the mental ability of the personnel and also to improve their fitness levels.
 
  Awareness session on safety Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
A session was organized on importance of safety for the beneficiaries of Vocational Training Centres – CSA Colony, Badli, Bawana, Inderlok, Mangolpuri, Rohini, Sultanpuri, Jahangirpuri. 300+ beneficiaries benefitted from the valuable knowledge shared by 80+ volunteers. The session was aimed to help the beneficiaries in observing safety while using electrical appliances, on road or at home.

Volunteers from Joda organised a general health check-up among the children of Joda basti. A health and hygiene talk was also delivered. The team distributed some nutritional supplements to the severely ill children.

The team of Shikhar 25 of Tata Steel visited Centre for Hearing Impaired Children and interacted with the children. The team also interacted with the parents and emphasized the need of proper hygiene for the wellbeing of these children. The team also distributed some soft toys and other games.
 
  Walkathon on safety Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
 
Pratham Cultural Club of Tata Power-DDL, organised a walkathon/ Awareness Rally at Keshavpuram, Delhi. It was a march to raise awareness in community on importance of safety, energy conservation, and plantation. 310+ Volunteers whole-heartedly and enthusiastically participated in the awareness rally spread across a stretch of 2 km.
