Volunteers of JUSCO, Jamshedpur celebrated Holi at an old age home in Baradwari. The team spent quality with the residents there by singing and dancing with them. Thereafter, volunteers played Holi with them using dry colours and distributed sweets and snacks to all which brought immense happiness on their faces. Moreover, the team also inaugurated the construction of railings which they had constructed for the safety of the residents.

Volunteers organized a safety awareness campaign for the students of SN High School. The volunteers spoke about general safety measures, home safety which included LPG Safety and other measures. Moreover, the students were enlightened by showing a visual presentation on ‘Road Safety Awareness.’

In the ongoing Tata Volunteering Week, the Team-Mundra along with the Panchayat and SHG members has decided to organize the "Swachhta Competition" in the villages. It was planned in such a way that a band of judges would visit each and every corner in the nearby village and will assess the cleanliness being adopted over the months by the villages specially the SHG members. It was also thought to felicitate the SHGs who will excel in the cleanliness drive, hence a jury comprised of well reputed women judges\opinion leaders\Teachers from the district was formed and the assessment began well in advance. On the basis of the score gained the SHGs were given the award in an award function. The function was attended by the Sarpanchs\ Panchayat members of the nearby Villages and well appreciated by the villagers. The villagers were very appreciative on the initiative by the CGPL Volunteers and partner NGO Sahajeevan. This program\event was well coordinated by the partner NGO Sahajeevan. In the function around 211 SHG members, along with the Panchayat members and a larger number of CGPL Volunteers and Sahajeevan Volunteers had participated. The entire proceeding of the function has also been captured so later through a movie the concept and value of “Cleanliness " may be propagated more in the villages.

During the program around 150 school students within the age group of 10-15 years from Jatiya Vidyalaya, Chabua were examined and were explained about the importance and benefits of Oral and Dental Health.

Volunteers from Rallis India, Barvai organized a session on basic Computer introduction for 4th to 7th standard students of Z P School Barvai at Barvai village near Panvel. Volunteers explained through a video showing parts of computer, functions of the parts and how to operate the parts. Students also learned how to operate the internet and how to collect required information from internet. Students raised various queries about computer during the session. A total of 14 volunteers participated in the event.
