  Founder’s day celebration JUSCO  |  Jamshedpur
JUSCO flagged off Tata Engage Volunteering Week 7 by celebrating Founders’ Day with the students of Rajkiyakrit Odiya Madhya Vidyalaya. Volunteers joined hands to commemorate the 178th birth anniversary of Jamsetji Tata and shared this happiness with these school children. Employees gave the school a large photo frame with a picture of the foresighted founder enlightened students about his vision, his good deeds, the chain of events that he set in motion and the services he rendered to the country.
  Distribution of educational kits JUSCO  |  Jamshedpur
A team of volunteers from JUSCO, Jamshedpur spent a few hours with the children at Aanganwadi in Byngbill. They distributed sets of uniforms and educational kits to all the children there and also spent time with them by singing songs and teaching them poems and nursery rhymes.
  Drawing competition at a children’s home Tata NYK Shipping  |  Kolkata
A team of volunteers from Tata NYK Shipping, Kolkata visited an all boys shelter home, managed by Hope Foundation. They conducted a drawing competition as well as a few other games for the children aged between 5 to 12 years.
  Cleanliness drive Ginger Hotels  |  Ahmedabad
Team members of Ginger Hotels at Ahmedabad organised a cleanliness drive in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. A team of 30 volunteers participated in the activity to clean the pathways near the hotel.
  Braille book binding Tata Teleservices  |  New Delhi
The volunteers visited Sir Jamshedji Duggan Braille Press in association with National Association for the Blind (NAB) and participated in a book binding activity. It included converting the text to Braille, proof reading in a group of two people per book (one visually impaired and the other sighted), printing, manually assembling the sheets followed by proof reading again, manually binding the sheets and labeling.
  Cleanliness drive and raising awareness Ginger Hotels  |  Goa
Team members from Ginger Hotels, Goa organised a cleanliness drive. A total of 19 volunteers participated in the activity. Along with cleaning the area around the hotel, the members were also able to raise awareness among people regarding cleanliness.
  Skill building session Indian Hotels   |  Bangalore
A team of volunteers from Indian Hotels, Bangalore conducted a skill development programme for participants from various institutes. They briefed the participants about the hospitality industry by sharing their experiences.
  Self- defence workshop Tata Business Support Services  |  Mohali
A self defence workshop was organised for the female employees of Tata Business Support Services, Mohali.
  Safety awareness rally Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
A team of members from Tata Power Delhi Distribution organized an awareness rally to sensitize common masses. The theme of the awareness rally was Safety Awareness. The aim was to spread message regarding importance of safety, at all times, whether at work, on road or even at home. The event witnessed an active participation of 150+ volunteers.
  Blood donation drive Tata Motors  |  Thane
Team members of Tata Motors and Tata Technologies participated in a blood donation drive. The drive was held at Tata Motors Thane Office in collaboration with Blood Bank of Tata Memorial (Cancer) Hospital. At the end of the drive, a total of 73 units of blood were collected.
  Awareness session Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
The Safety Department of Tata Power Delhi Distribution, Delhi organized an awareness session at their technology centre. The volunteers briefed the participants regarding the importance of safety, at all times, whether at work, on road or even at home. The event witnessed an active participation of 150 members.
  Theme based session at vocational training centre Tata Power Delhi Distribution  |  Delhi
A session – ‘Unnati Ki Ore’ was organized for the beneficiaries of Vocational Training Centre – M2K, Rohini. 45+ beneficiaries benefitted from the valuable knowledge shared by 7 volunteers. The session was aimed to help the beneficiaries in building confidence, improvise communication skills etc.
  Dental check-up camp Tata Steel  |  Jamshedpur
A group of volunteers from Tata Steel, Jamshedpur organised dental check-up camp for the truck drivers at Transport Nagar. More than 200 truck driver avail the facility of this camp.
  Donation drive at a primary school Tata Steel  |  Jamshedpur
A group of members from Tata Steel Jamshedpur distributed shoes and socks to 110 needy students of Murgabeda Primary School.
  Blood donation drive Tata Consulting Engineers  |  Delhi
A team of employees from Tata Consulting Engineers, Delhi organized a blood donation camp in Green Boulevard Campus, Noida in collaboration with Rotary Noida Blood Bank. A total of 33 units of blood were donated. The volunteers also organized a quiz contest themed “Tata Group – Making India Proud Globally”.
  Drawing competition Tata Steel Processing and Distribution  |  Jamshedpur
A team of volunteers from Tata Steel Processing and Distribution, Jamshedpur visited Sukhtara School and organised a drawing competition for the children. They also distributed crayon boxes and helped the students to colour.
  Health check up and awareness JUSCO  |  Jamshedpur
The volunteers from JUSCO, Jamshedpur organized a health check-up for 60 primary school students of NPS Dungrikuli, Nirmal Nagar, Balrampur. The medical camp included a general check-up. Volunteers distributed vitamin and iron supplements and necessary medicines for students with impairments and recommended further medical treatments. This camp also included an awareness campaign where the volunteers enlightened the students about health, hygiene and sanitation.
  Digital literacy programme Tata Technologies   |  Pune
A group of volunteers from Tata Technologies, Pune organised a Digital Literacy Programme for girls from Lila Poonawalla Foundation. A total of 58 girls benefitted from the programme.

  Making candles with children TML Drivelines  |  Jamshedpur
A group of thirty two volunteers from various departments of TML Drivelines actively participated in candle making activities organised by the NGO Udaan Viklaang. The main aim of the event was expanding their marketplace, by leveraging outburst in the technological advancement in the field of e-commerce and social media.
